"I am so unbelievably disgusted and disappointed with this booking. Myself and three friends travelled to Birmingham for what was supposed to be a lovely reunion weekend. We paid in full for the accommodation weeks in advance but received zero communication from the host re check in. We were left stranded outside the apartment for the two hours following the check in time of 4pm. We contacted Expedia and Vrbo who were unable to contact the host or help us. All they could offer us was a refund...

"Location was very good, convenient to buses, shops. Short walk to town center. The rental was as described, with the exception of the following: floor looked clean, but needed a good washing, as our feet got dirty quickly. The patio, which had a lot of weeds and the patio furniture was dirty, with an ashtray full of old cigarette butts. The mattresses need upgrading as we could feel the springs and made for not the best nights sleep. The blinds in the front bedroom looked like they had been...
