Stayed 4nights (23/8 to 26/8). Really good hotel. Buffet Breakfast are excellent. All the staffs are very poliet, patient n helpful. But some of the hotel staffs have to improve English. Toilet seat are in yellow color and the shower of my room 31042 at Level 14 is spoiled n need to take some time to satisfy the shower. Also no wifi. If I want to get one day pass wifi, I have to buy at least coffee at the Bar means terrible. Overall, 4 out of 5. 👍

From the time the doorman takes your bags from the footpath to the reception area, it already feels like home.
I found all staff members to be friendly, helpful and happy all the time.
The hotel is in the middle of Chinatown but it is quiet, secure and very safe.
I loved the exotic décor and the whole place has a really nice vibe and atmosphere.
The hotel is clean, well maintained and I loved my stay there.
Have stayed at this hotel 3 times, will recommend it to all my friends and will definitely stay here again.

"Fabulous quiet oasis in midst of Bangkok craziness"
This is not a huge fancy expensive hotel . What it is is a beautiful incredibly modestly priced charming safe and quiet hotel on a quiet street away from the noise of very busy Bangkok.the staff is friendly accommodating and warm. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. The breakfasts are generous and delicious. The pool is warm and lovely . It is not in a ritzy area of town, but did seem conveniently located. We actually just used the local taxis for airport transport because that was less expensive than the transport service the hotel offered. We did use the hotels massage facilities and that also was delightful. We plan on staying here again when we return to Bangkok.
We arrived to be informed that the hotel pool was closed and we were not happy about it. We complained as we had only spoken to the motel a couple of days before to extend our stay and they had not told us about the pool. Management did the right thing and upgraded our room. We were very happy with the outcome.
Our stay at Sala Rattanakosin was 3 days and we wish it was longer! The staff was wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast on the patio overlooking the River was delightful. Excellent menu.
Comfortable bed, room size adequate, clean and nicely appointed. The staff went out of their way to make our visit memorable.
with my wife and two children we arrived at the royal princess larn luang at 9.30 pm after a long hard flight from england at checking in the staff were very nice and helpfull and the concirge made a fuss of the children the family room spotless clean and the room and bed were of a good size ' it was so nice to wake up and pull back the blinds with a nice view over bangkok and then to go down for a even better buffet breakfast .
We stayed here several nights while exploring Bangkok. The hotel was well located for us. It is on a canal, but that canal is not used by the ferries. It is just a few blocks from the river and then a short walk to one of the river ferry docks. We took the river and canal ferries several times to get around that part of town, where most of the sights are. The hotel arranged for a canal tour for us and that was interesting. Otherwise we didn't use the hotel tour desk and I am not sure that they had the best selection of tours besides some of the standard ones. We walked several times the few blocks down to the Kosan rd area. The street above it and below it are the better options for shopping. Coming back from the weekend market we took the sky train to the river and then the river ferry to the dock nearest the hotel.
