"The staff were all really friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. The parking (albeit a bit tight to get into) was easy and really secure. The bar and restaurant were both lovely and the food was of a good standard. Negatives: Our room (above the bar) was noisy both from the bar and from the busy road. "Arrived late evening just in time for delicious meal of fresh salad starter followed by beef stroganoff, excellently presented, served, and was delicious. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and early morning shower was the best power shower I've experienced, an excellent start to the day, followed by an well presented and deliciously cooked full English breakfast. Couldn't ask for more!!"

"Fabulous historic hotel with tremendous charm in the heart of quirky Glastonbury. We had a large room with a beautiful four poster bed. The bathroom was modern (except for the separate hot & cold water taps on the sink). I was not comfortable with the intrusive information requests and privacy waivers required to use the hotel Wi-Fi so did not use it."

"The bedrooms have good facilities which adds to comfort, ie comfortable bed, Roberts radio, iron and ironing board, cafetière for your coffee as well as choice of teas. Large bathroom with good shower which was powerful and hot. We had dinner at the hotel and even though the food was okay, the service was slow. The staff were very apologetic but there were large parties in for dining and there are not enough waiting staff to cope."
