Carl was brilliant in communicating with me when I booked for the group and met us with a warm welcome on arrival. He gave a tour of the house giving us all the information we needed. "The property was clean although a bit tired. Quite a few fittings hanging off. Note there are 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet, not 3 bathrooms as advertised. Bedrooms functional but very cramped. The owner required a £300 deposit via bank transfer in order to release the keys on the day of check-in, and then didn't refund or communicate for a week after the the rental, despite me making numerous calls and messages. Refund came eventually, but communication was non existent."

"The pictures don’t do the property justice! Such a nice place and area, although it was a tad dirty when we arrived so had to clean up a bit. The host was communicative and told me all the information I needed to know, was a great stay with my family and friends for my birthday :)"

"This was a beautiful house to stay in. Very homey, clean and spacious. The jacuzzi was a great touch. I would definitely book again but with others next time. It was a little pricey and big for me, husband and two under 2. I Would for sure recommend for 6-8 people. "

"This property is excellent for a target market of people travelling for work who just need a functional place to sleep and aren't fussy about the conveniences and luxuies usual in holiday let properties. We were happy with our stay because we had full days planned and were only in the property from 10pm to 8am each day, but I wouldn't recommend a holiday here if relaxing at the property would be part of the plan. The staircase is too steep for anyone older than 65ish or younger than 7ish....

"We had a wonderful stay at the Rectory Farm for the Christmas Holidays. We stayed in the two bedroom loft which was perfect for our family. We saw some fantastic wildlife including a badger, ducks, birds and loved the rolling green English countryside."

"Lovely little house, with everything you need for a home from home. Downsides- there is child lock on the Wi-fi, not good for a tradesman working away. Cold house- woke up every morning shivering. Wasn’t sure how to set heating timer. And next door there are elderly neighbours who must be deaf- they are night owls and I’m sure their tv is directly opposite the wall of bed stand. Was maybe 2am before all was quiet. Also nothing to do with house but there were scrambler bikes going up and down...

"Views are great over the square and the check in and communication process was easy. £100 bond was returned quickly and the flat is very secure and spacious. Kitchen is well stocked. Parking was free 6pm to 6am and is a 5-10 minute walk away at Argos and can be paid for remotely from 6am 8am which was £2. "
