Le Palace Versailles is a fantastic place to see and feel, the pinnacle of them palaces! You will be blown away by the splendour and luxuries these past individuals lived their lives, at the expense of the French people of course!

"Excellent price, location, facilities and staff. M"
The hotel is located across from Dupleix metro which linked with many of the main points of interest in Paris.
The hotel looked small from outside but our room was very spacious especially for Paris and it had a big waterfall shower and plenty of natural light.
The staff were all really friendly and spoke English. There was free wifi and we were able to store our bags until our flight.
I couldn't recommend this hotel more, we will definitely be staying again!

From check in to check out, the staff were perfect. Downstairs lobby area and bar were highly presented. The lift was a tad small so maybe only suitable for 2 at a time with luggage. WiFi is free (or was as part of my booking) and is offered as a 48hr log in service per device - requested 3 codes each time without questionso assume its as many as required.
The bed was nice and comfy, bathroom spacious and all turned down nicely each day with fresh stocks of necessities and tea/coffee as required.
Location is on a quiet street, very close to supermarkets and direct line of sight to Eiffel Tower from the corner store - walkable in about 30 minutes following metro line 6 from Montparnasse to Bir Hakeim. Local metro (Pernety) is a few hundred yards walk and as with most lines in Paris, operates about once every 5 minutes.
Day before checkout my wife was feeling a little peaky, so decided against my usual Metro/RER trip back to CDG Airport, instead asking front desk about their shuttle service, at 8pm the night before i was a little doubtful, but Olivier was confident and after a few minutes on the phone had secured passage for €36 for both including 2 suitcases and 2 hand luggage €16 payable to desk, €20 to driver (very reasonable when Metro is €1.70 and RER €9.50)
Only negative would be breakfast, not in quality, but pricing, bookable the night before for €10 or on the day for €13 - although being completely honest, this is normal for Paris, its just a personal gripe i have.

Great crash pad while in Paris for 3 days. Super comfy bed with lots of blankets. I brought tea and via (Starbucks instant coffee) and used it with the hot pot they provided. Walking distance to the St Michel Metro that has the Rer B that will wisk you away to CDG airport for 10 Euros. Location cannot be beat! Louvre-Point Des Artes-Colette

A clean, comfortable and generally pleasant hotel near the Champs de Mars. The secluded courtyard is a good place for a spot of chilling out! Although there is currently some daytime building work opposite the hotel (Feb 2008), it's in a fairly quiet area but close enough to the Metro so that you can hop into the centre of Paris easily and quickly - about 5-10 mins to Pont St M. If you want to relax away from the main hustle, this is for you. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only drawback is the hotel does not have a restaurant, but there are plenty of places nearby.

Firstly, this is a budget hotel. The fact you're reading this to start with means your're not expecting the Ritz, but somewhere with a decent location that's not so bad to stay in.
The location could not really be better - 1 minute walk to the river, 3 minutes to the Louvre, close to underground stations, and around 10 minutes away from St Germain, a really lively and fun area for going out at night.
The hotel itself is more than adequate. The lift/elevator is possibly the smallest I've ever seen, and will fit 2 adults max in it (doughnut fans could have a problem). The rooms are comfortable enough - the twin we stayed in had 2 narrow but comfortable beds. The bathroom is a little basic, with a luke warm shower and not a great deal of room, but then again it's Paris... How much time do you want to stay in your hotel anyway?
All in all, if you're just looking for somewhere (fairly) comfortable to stay, in a fantastic location, this is the hotel for you. If you're after home comforts, you're looking at $200 more a night for the same location.

"Nice little hotel, near main road and restaurants."
A very short notice booking was made for me on the day for a hotel near (20 minutes walk) to where I was working for the weekend (port du versailles) so I wasn't expecting very much tbh. I was pleasantly surprised after the..not so enthusing walk to my double room to find it very clean, spacious, bright and comfortable with a modern en suite bathroom with a well powered shower and plenty of towels etc. A small off note would be the lack of a shower door, it had a half screen instead but there were floor mats to stop that being an issue. Plenty of storage space and open wardrobe as well as a desk and table and tv on the wall.
All in all I had a good night, the area was quiet with access to food even late at night (nearby restaurants and a kebab shop that closed around 4am apparently)
I enjoyed my stay though would have benefited from being informed of the procedure to get the wifi, even if at the time it wasn't accessible from my room. (ask at the desk for a wifi code and they will print one up for you on receipt paper)
