Apollo Restaurant - The hotel's gourmet restaurant serves a buffet breakfast, and either buffet or formal a la carte lunches and dinners every day. Separated from the lobby by Japanese-style paper screens, and decorated with black granite tabletops and lime green leather chairs. The menu offers Asian and Western selections including lobster, salmon, large salads, and elaborate desserts. Extensive wine list.

Cosmos Bar - Located in the carpeted area of the lobby next to the atrium windows, the bar overlooks a garden. Seating includes upholstered armchairs and sofas, stools at the bar, or small tables set for an express lunch. A full selection of cocktails and hot drinks are available from early morning until past midnight. The bar has a billiards table and piano entertainment in the evenings.

“Disappointing”

Our room was lovely, the concierge great, service overall was very average especially in restaurant and the hotel "club" (none), There was no atmosphere if this mattes to you and I thought the bistro at dinner and breakfast very ordinary. I have stayed at far better hotels at the same price or star rating

“Nice clean room, but overall hotel value not great”

We stayed here to be close to the airport. The room was nice, the bed was relatively comfortable. There are no restaurants nearby so we had no choice but to eat at the restaurant downstairs. The food was extremely overpriced and the service was terrible. For that reason, I would think there are better hotels out there to stay by the airport.

“Facility needs to be renovated--new carpeting, paint, tiles in bathrooms”

NO HYATT SHUTTLE TO BE FOUND--ANYWHERE! For weary international travelers, this is a definite drawback to staying at the Hyatt Roissy. The hotel also needs some major renovations and updating. When I first stayed here 17 years ago, it was luxurious and well worth a 4 star rating. Today it's worn, even dirty in places like carpeting, bathroom tile grout, etc. I'm surprised that Hyatt hasn't kept on top of the maintenance but was very pleased to know that the dining room still serves excellent food. All of the staff were very cordial--no complaints at that end.

“Good value”

We stayed during 2 nights at Hyatt Paris CDG. The hotel is very modem and easy to find on car. The shuttle to the airport is not convenient as it goes to terminal 3 only every 30 min but the train station (to downtown Paris or TGV) is in terminal 2. The main complain we have is more related to the restaurant management. We had 2 days there and each morning we go to breakfast and got a bill for 16 EURO each person, which is fine. At the checkout, we were told the calculation was wrong for both days and it should be 23 EURO each. How can a hotel like Hyatt make such mistake for 2 days consecutive? Otherwise the staff was friendly and hotel is in neat condition except the bathroom tub had molded sealing.

Area recommendations

Paris downtown is 30 min by RER but getting to the train station takes more than 30 mins as you must take the shuttle to one terminal and take airport train to another terminal before taking the regional train to Paris

“Very impressed with Hyatt Regency CDG & breakfast buffet”

Quiet rooms, friendly English speaking staff, and well above average breakfast buffet. Would definitely stay again at the Hyatt Reg CDG for a night before a flight. Easy to access from highway. No hesitation to recommend.

“not impressed”

first time in my life a hotel (expensive,5 stars)they dont offer coffee in the room they said its not a part of the service ,and if i want i have to pay for it ,no iron and iron board in the room . i dont recommend this hotel at all, i wasn't satisfied i regret that i paid my money to that hotel a big name like hyatt should offer better service .

“Love American hotels”

The Hyatt at Paris Charles deGalle airport is beautiful and I believe a real value for the money, US standards. Large king size bed, luxurious linnen and bedding, flat screen TV, excellent service. People were very friendly at the hotel. I read other reviews and I do not agree with most of them. I believe it is a great hotel for an overnight stay waiting for a flight but I would not stay there while in Paris, to far from the city. I was waiting for a connecting flight home. Yes, the food there is expensive by US standards but a really execellent selection. The dinner buffett was not cheap but you got Chilean Sea bass, roast leg of lamb, prime roast beef, roast chicken, there was a cavier casserole suprisingly not salty very tasty, many different types of salads, and the desert bar, well Paris's best pastries. Even in the US, dinner at the Hyatt is not cheap. I found it to be reasonable for Europe. I would diffenately recommend this hotel for a last night in Paris.

Getting around

Take the RER, it goes everywhere. Get a mutipass for as many days as you need. You can transverse all of Paris from the airport to the Eifel tower, Momount to Norte Dame, etc. It is the best way to travel across town quickly. Or the buses if you want to see Paris slowly.
