"We enjoyed staying at 5 Shadycombe cottage. Owner sent lots of useful information by email shortly before stay. The cottage was compact, clean and well equipped. The bathrooms were a little compact. The cottage location and proximity to Salcombe allowed us to walk into town. We found fabulous art store, along with a great bakery for breakfast goods and pasties, in addition fudge, chocolate and ice cream stores all very yummy. "Great place for the family, our 5-yr old loved the stairs and having his own bathroom! Nicely equipped kitchen, and room for the grandparents to visit. We even cooked, which we don't usually do on vacation! Enjoyed the games rooms and pool too. Only thing missing was a wood burning stove! Loved it, will definitely recommend it"

"We had a lovely week here with out two teenagers, the cottage was super clean and had all the amenities you would need, Inc all the kitchen gadgets you need to cook with which makes life easy and saves bringing extra stuff. Great communication with host before our stay and the instructions for our visit were easy to follow. We loved the location and the comfort of the cottage. Just beautiful!! We would highly recommend and visit again."
