"An ok hotel, but not great. I chose hotel specially for the gym. The gym had a few weights and one elliptical machine. The machine was broken, so the gym was not open. The staff did not know when or whether it would be open. Also, way off the beaten track. Far from old quarter. Only one of many "A-25Hotel" locations in Hanoi. Created some real problems when I engaged Uber to take me to "A-25 hotel." Took me to wrong one and driver insisted it was what I had ordered. Had to get another...

"Most everything was GREAT. Staff was eager to help, services/amenities were as advertised. In the GOOD/LESS_THAN_GREAT category, I'd add these annoyances: -Speaking English with staff was VERY difficult, -The bed was kind of hard (though that seems to be standard in Vietnam), -The toilet leaked (from the wall, not the bowl)- I notified staff but nothing was done, -The wifi went out on the last night of my stay- I notified staff but nothing was done. "Perfect location with in walking distance of the old quarter. The beds are extremely comfortable, and we did not hear any noise from outside, on the first night we slept for 12 hours! Breakfast is great. But the most memorable was the staff of the hotel. The most loving people who would do anything to help you and make you feel welcomed. Jennie went above and beyond for us with tips and searching for the best tours."
