"We came for some relaxation as a couple. And even though it's right by the airport, we heard nothing and slept soundly all night. The Breakfast is a buffet style, plentiful, hot and of good quality. There's also pastries,cereal pots, toast and the coffee machine is fab. Completely worth the £12.50 for everything supplied. The lady organising and cleaning the breakfast area was fabulous, friendly and was very quick at turning table round for new guests. The Hotel itself is lovely inside, nice little bar area inside with more than reasonable prices. The outdoor seating area is beautiful and serene. I spent most of my day there just relaxing and listening to birds. The Spa area with the pool and gym amenities were absolutely stunning and I'm gutted I wasn't able to use them on this visit as I've just had surgery and still have stitches sadly. But I will definitely be coming back again from now on. I'm originally from Manchester but now live in South Shields, and I think this might be my new go too, every time we come down to visit friends and family. I highly recommend here for the small amount it costs for a little bit of luxury. "

"We were truly delighted with our experience at Buxton Crescent. The hotel had called us a couple of weeks prior to our arrival and asked if we were coming for any special occasion. We told them it was for our 10th wedding anniversary. After we had checked in, we found that our room had been upgraded! It was such a nice surprise. The room itself was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. We went down to the spa and it was lovely. All very clean and there were lots of towels available as well as plenty of cold water to drink. The spa facilities were varied and they're was plenty of space for everyone using it. We both had a massage treatment and each enjoyed it very much. The treatment rooms were clean, relaxing and smelt lovely and the couches were heated making them very relaxing indeed. When we got back to the room we had another surprise waiting for us - a chilled bottle of prosecco and glasses and a really nice handwritten card from the Ops manager wishing us a happy anniversary. It was a lovely touch. We continued using the spa until dinner. It never got overly busy so we really enjoyed relaxing there. Dinner itself was superb. Breakfast was also very good too in the morning. We had a lovely walk around Buxton - it's a beautiful town with lots going on. The hotel is located perfectly for exploring it. Overall we were really happy with our stay. It's a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion. We will certainly be visiting again."
