"We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!"

"Our Accomodation met all our needs. The kitchen was a little small but adequate. We loved being able to paddle board from the rear of our Accomodation. We did get stuck in the reeds though. Perhaps they need a little trim. The outdoor pool was heated so the kids were happy to splash around before dinner. We didn’t use the Spa. We did a couple of walks around the village and a little bit of nature spotting. I think it would be a good idea to create a larger adventure play area for the 10+...

"Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions."

"We were a hen party of 12 staying at Trimnells. From the moment we booked Susan was fantastic. Nothing was ever to much trouble for her. "From beginning to the end Catherine and Thomas have been brilliant. We arrived early and Catherine said we could go straight to the cottage, ( which with a 2 and half year old) saved us having to find somewhere to hang around for a couple of hours. As the other cottage wasnt being used at the time we were able to adjust our booking times of the pool if we needed to. The place itself is beautiful and has everything you need. "Absolute beautiful house in a truly picturesque area. The house was extremely well equipped to a very high standard. Really comfortable and spacious. The only negative were the wasps in one of the bathrooms otherwise perfect!"

"The photos really don't do the sheer tranquility of the settinf justice. Total isolation in the cotswolds, beautiful surrounding scenery. The house is nice if not new spec on all the funishings, but the real win is the location and the setting. Perfect for our group of friends who wanted to relax and stay up late drinking and chatting and enjoyinf the hot tub. But I'd also come back with my family any day of the week. If you do stay, check out the Rose and Crown in Shilton for a great meal."

Lovely, different place to stay
"We stayed at Mollie's for 2 nights. It is a lovely motel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's in a great location for exploring the Cotswolds. It's quite a quirky unique place. The bed was super comfortable. We found it a little odd having the sink outside the bathroom and the taps turned in the opposite way to what we are used to so managed to get items a little wet at times but that was no big deal when you get used to it. Also there wasn't a lot of hanging space, but that's to be expected in a motel. The food in Mollie's Diner was delicious, the only thing for us is that is was super noisy so the second night we went somewhere quieter for dinner - but that's just our personal preference. Everyone in the diner seemed to be having a lovely time. We had breakfast in the diner both mornings and we couldn't fault it. Superb with excellent service and so nice to be able to choose different things for breakfast to food which you get in traditional hotels in England. The staff in the diner were lovely and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Alongside the American breakfast items you can also get a traditional English breakfast if you wish. "
