Cons: personeel achter de receptie vriendelijker. personeel in de bar is prima!
Was een goed verblijf, kamers ietwat oudbollig maar wel schoon. Voor de lage prijs meer dan ik had verwacht. Ook metro goed bereikbaar.

Dirty Dungeon

Pros: Proximity to Primrose Hill park and grocery store.
Cons: Don't put people on the lower, inner level without windows. Also, rooms need better cleaning. Unacceptable for filthy toilets. I question the linens.
Location: Five minute walk to Primrose Hill park. 15 minute walk to Chalk Farm tube station.
Upon check-in, we learned the elevator was broken. This was fine for us because our room was just one floor down. In what you could describe as a dungeon. We had no windows at all (bedroom or bathroom). Immediately, I noticed there was poop in the toilet and pee rimming the seat. We heard another gentleman complaining about the same thing at the front desk! I later found old food wrappers in the nightstand drawers ( I wonder how long they have been there?). Our room was just below the stairs so we could hear EVERYONE coming and going. This was frequent as the elevator was out of service the entire 4 days we were there. Also, don't expect a hot shower in the winter. Ours barely reached above lukewarm. I suspect the water heater was turned down for the basement level since we had no ventilation and they didn't want steam setting off any fire alarms. The only redeeming quality is that it is a 5 minute walk from Primrose Hill park and the neighbor hood is quite nice.

Verwacht er verder niet teveel van! Prima locatie, om de hoek een kleine supermarkt en metro op ong 5min lopen richting het centrum!

Durch die negative Kritik hatten wir das Schlimmste befürchtet, doch wir wurden vom Gegenteil überzeugt.die Lage war sehr gut , direkte Anbindung an Bushaltestellen , quasi vor der Tür und kurze Strecke zur underground.das Frühstück war lecker allerdings auch sehr Üppig, wahrscheinlich trifft es eher den Geschmack eines Mannes, ein full English breakfast halt. das Abendessen hat uns sehr gut gefallen.das Buffet war überschaubar aber abwechslungsreich.kosten für Buffet lagen bei 8 Pfund, das Frühstück bei 6.die Zimmer wurden jeden Morgen ordentlich zurecht gemacht. jeden Tag gab es frische Handtücher. im Großen und Ganzen Warenwir sehr zufrieden. es gab kein schimmel oder Ungeziefer.

Good things - Nice staff, cheap wine, bedding was cleaning and good walking distance to Camden etc Bad things - room was very noisy (imagine sleeping in the middle of a road!), bed very uncomfortable, carpet threadbare, stains on wall, plastic peeling on bathroom window

They lost our reservation even with the Expedia confirmation. We waited an hour to get our room. They didn't have a room we reserved we asked for a double they placed us into a very nice single bed room large with closets and a table and chairs moved us to a room with a double bed the next day. However the room was a 3rd of the size in a corner with just a bed and a night stand no closets and no room for a suitcase. The room was very clean however there was no ventilation and the heat from bathroom set off fire alarms every time we showered and everything in th e room was constantly damp from the humidity
