“A good night's rest”

A spotlessly clean and comfortable hotel with helpful staff. Even though the hotel is just off the main Amsterdam/Rotterdam motorway, the hotel is double glazed and I wasn't bothered by the traffic. It's located adjacent to a canal used by pleasure craft and its neighbour is a typical Dutch windmill.

Area recommendations
I am studying photography and this location was close to the Dutch countryside I wanted to explore, notably the bulb fields around Lisse. The neighbouring town of Leiden is beautiful and worth a visit.
When to go
April for the bulbfields.
Getting around
I had a hire car but bicycles can be rented.

“OK”

Abgesehen von der Lage an der nahen Autobahn ist das Hotel insgesamt zu empfehlen, man ist halt - wenn auch mit dem Auto - schnell an der Küste ohne die dortigen Preise bezahlen zu müssen. Komfort ist durchaus in Ordnung. In direkter Nähe liegen ein Pfannkuchen-Restaurant und ein MacD's.

“un peu déçu par la propreté et la qualité de la literie”

les sanitaires n'étaient pas nettoyés tout les jours, des toiles d'arraignées sous les meubles, la couette du lit était juste tirée et la literie trop molle.

Traveller's tip
attention au vol dans les voitures. Ne rien laisser dans la voiture meme si le parking est juste devant l'entrée de l'hotel. Nous nous sommes fait fracturer la vitre de la voiture et volé quelques effets personnels sous les yeux du gardien.
