"The property is spotless although a dated feel inside. The log fire is great. Handy having dishwasher and washing machine. St Monans is stunning and it’s an easy, beautiful walk to Pittenweem. Careful about where you park, if you park behind the house you run the risk of a neighbour parking across your rear in a show of? Annoyance? Aggression? Arrogance? Who knows?!!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Blairbell Cottage! It's a beautiful cottage and perfect for our family of 6. The kids loved the games room with the games, table football and SNES. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen is comprehensively equipped. The wi-fi is very fast and rock solid. The beds are really comfy in every room. The views from the front over the fields and moors is beautiful. We did walks around down to the lochs and around the estate, and spotted wildlife including red squirrels....

"The Castle Beach was very comfortable for all of us! It was within walking distance of everything we needed. Great pubs, the beach, shopping and beautiful sight seeing. Broughty Ferry was charming and so was the the house!!"

"Lovely place; quite far out in the country. Very comfy. Communication with the host was very difficult. Couldn't figure out how to use the television and the dvd player was missing cords. Instruction manuals for everything would be really helpful."

"It was a lovely cottage in a lovely location. I would have given it a 5 star but there was a couple of things that made it a 4 star rating. The postcode doesn’t take you to the location and it would have helped if there had been directions given to let you know that. I had to contact the seller to find out how I get in as well as directions when we got there. No hand towels were provided and there was 5 of us staying who all needed those for after washing our hair. Very bare minimum of things...

"From the owner to the location, we couldn’t have asked for more. The house was well equipped and the owner went above and beyond to throw in some extras. He made our 3 year delay worth it. Fantastic pubs, within feet of property and downtown St. Andrews an easy 5 minute walk. Carrying the golf clubs to the first tee was about the best experience you can have as a golfer. Cheers!!"

"What a pleasant surprise this find was! We were able to book three nights on relatively short notice. There were four of us visiting Scotland, with two playing golf at several of the local courses. It is very conveniently located near St. Andrews, as well as other little coastal towns. We stayed in The Pines, which was a lovely little house at the end of a road. The grounds were beautiful, and the house fit our every need. It was a perfect ending to a busy 10-day Scottish whirlwind tour."
