A tasteful hotel which was really convenient for our needs. Excellent buffet breakfast, spotlessly clean rooms, good pool and sauna/steal room for relaxation at the end of the day. About 20 minutes walk from town or a five minute walk to tram link to town. Literally round the corner from a super-clean new shopping centre called the Galleria Kazimierz . Good for a central Alma supermarket for gift ideas. Helpful staff in the hotel - all of whom spoke good English including the luggage porter! Restaurant a bit nouvelle cuisine for us but we were looking for Polish cuisine which we found at several really good places. try the Miod Malina or the Wesele - both of which have great food at a price that won't break the bank. Whilst 165 zty sounds a lot, £33 for a three course dinner with drinks for two people clearly isn't. DO visit the salt mines and Auschwitz though not on the same day. Be prepared to be moved and shocked at man's inhumanity to man. Visit the Schindler factory and the museum that is underground of the main market square. If you buy the Krakow tourist card from the tourist info offices for 2/3 days duration the entrance fee for these last two is included as is unlimited travel on buses and trams. Auschwitz and salt mines are not included nor is the Wawel castle museums. Try the pretzels from the street vendors for an energy boost and walk. It is an evocative, thought-provoking, fascinating, historically significant. friendly, vibrant and reasonably priced holiday.
Quite some way out of town (15min tram ride costing about £0.40 or 10min taxi ride costing about £5) a very comfortable and clean hotel with exceptionally helpful staff; all of whom spoke good English. I would recommend to others without hestitation.
Contemporary hotel situated in the South of Krakow, two kilometres from Wawel Hill with its royal buildings and …More
Very pleasant little hotel. Situated just outside the Old Town and hidden from any road noise by being behind a row of other buildings makes this the ideal hotel for any traveller wanting to be close to the 'action' but away from the noise. The staff are extremely friendly and, judging by my room, the rooms are far more comfortable and spacious than those in other hotels that charge a lot more. Little things like scuff marks on the walls are minor points considering this is a budget hotel. Would definitely recommended and will definitely look to stay here again if/when I next vist Krakow.
