“Krakow - excellent holiday”
Excellent hotel in a very good location. Staff were very helpful. My husband left his glasses on the coach from Auschwitz and the hotel staff telephoned the coach company and the glasses were returned by 9am the next morning. The staff were again helpful when we couldn't contact the coach company to confirm our booking to Auschwitz due to it being a bank holiday weekend in Poland. They contacted the company and confirmed us on the 3pm coach tour. We had already missed the 9am tour. Breakfasts were good. We got free newspapers. The room was stylish, very clean and very quiet.
“Definitely go back - amazing experience.”
Fantastic hotel - very helpful, polite and enthusiastic. Spotless hotel. Perfect position for all main areas of Krakow. Positioned opposite a park. The main castle is at the end of the street. Krakow main square a short distance away. Fantastic coffee shops nearby and restaurants. About 50 minutes from Auschwitz and 25 minutes from the Salt Mines. Can't fault this hotel. Highly recommend.
“excellent hotel, well located”
can't fault the hotel for locationm cleanliness and service. can't comment on the food as we didnt eat there (too expensive).
“Could do better”
The hotel is smart & plush. Very clean & well maintained throughout. However I had the general feeling that we were an inconvenience to the staff whenever we asked for anything. The difference in rooms & provisions for a party of 4, booked together was surprising & the hotel refused to improve on anything. The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing & for the plethora of restaurants in the local area. Wifi connection was good throughout the hotel & the bar area was nice. All in all a good hotel but could improve a little on customer service
“Krakows best Hotel”
The Radddison Blu, Krakow was all we were expecting and more. The bed was huge at least 6 feet wide and very comfortable. Full mini in the room. Safe in room. Satalite TV in room. And a lot more. The hotel is worthy of its 5 star rating. We dined there one of the nights and for a fixed fee (approx. £35 per person) could eat and drink as much as we liked. Very good value, when you are thirsty and have a penchant for red wine.!!!!! It is also very close to the 'old town' square which was a god send as no long walks after dinner when eating out. The reception staff were very friendly and super efficient. They booked our taxi to return to the airport and kept our cases in their secure storage, after we had checked out on the last day, until it was time to go to the airport.
“Beautiful Kracow”
Lovely city and really worth a visit. Quaint with loads of character despite being so modern. Fabulous hotel in a good location close to all the attractions but not too close to be disturbed by the night life. Nice and quiet at night in the hotel, I will come back for sure
“Nice but to expensive to eat or drink in”
The hotel is well located and modern. However the price of any food or drink in the hotel is outrageous when you compared it to what is available only yards away. They wanted £20+ each for breakfast per day, so we gave that a miss and went around the corner to a sandwich shop. Normally we found food elsewhere to be around half what I would pay in the UK so to charge 2x what we would pay here is mad. Krakow is great though well worth it and great value. The entertainment system in the rooms is also terrible. £15 to watch 1 movie per night..... and when you selected it it was actually not showing the one advertised either on screen or in the hotel room book. We refused to pay that fee on check out because of it and after some argument they said okay.
“Good hotel at good location”
We couldn't fault the hotel and a standard room is a good size. My only comments are that for a five star, we couldn't tell the difference between this and any other four star hotel. The breakfast was very expensive if you opt for a non-inclusive deal - 95 PLN each, and when we could get a perfectly good breakfast for two at a cafe for 40 PLN. The location was excellent. We enjoyed our stay.
“Been here three times before - would go back again”
Really enjoy this hotel, security could be better tho, as we had our door handle tried twice late on in the night and it wasn't staff. I reported this on the morning of leaving and staff said they would check the security videos. I should have reported this at the time of happening. Staff at this hotel are always willing to help and are very pleasant. This is a very busy/lively hotel especially at the week-ends so if you want a quieter holiday book during the week
“Price & location right.”
Nice hotel. Great location. Front desk staff not particularly helpful, seemed too busy to provide information. Breakfast too expensive, as in most European hotels, better food & cheaper in the main plaza of the old town just a block away. Otherwise, a good place to stay for sightseeing.
