"My 9 year old son and I stayed at Aura del Mar for Spring Break 2024. While the hotel is not kid focused or running over with screaming kids, it is kid friendly. The pool area is lovely, with plenty of different lounging areas in the shade. It's a bonus that the excellent and reasonably priced Bistro Del Mar is on the beach level, as they were consistently delivering food and drinks up to guests at the pool. I considered it to be in the ideal location in Zihuatanejo, as it's a 10 minute walk...

Our unit had sewer smells each morning, the power plugs didn’t work, many light switches were broken, the safe didn’t work and our towels were frayed and worn. Worst part, we had pre-paid and couldn’t change or leave early. Will never go back!!!!!! "
