The Viceroy is situated in the most wonderful paradise. Private seculsion. The level of detail and customer focus detail by the staff is exceptional. Each person is treated like royalty. Grounds are kept up, everything very clean...beach area is the best!!!! In each direction a perfect view. Food at the Viceroy was top notch. Had breakfast and dinners on site. Each one so different and a delight. Sunsets to die for!
The resort was so clean and the staff was very attentive. The Oriental restaurant in my opinion was the best and then the Mexican. The Oyster Bar was very romantic. Short cab ride to the tourist part of Ixtapa. I recommend Emilio's pizza and The Generals restaurant if you want to get off the resort to eat.
We love this place. So secluded with beautiful greenery. The staff remains the same, love seeing the same excellent people who make our trip special. We feel very safe in Ixtapa! The food on the Beach club is just as we expect.
It was perfect, we arrived a bit early but they were ready for us, they met us at the door and greeted us by our names, the manager sat down with us and we went thru our reservation details while drinking some fresh made hibiscus water and that was just the first day. It was very nice to see that everyone in that hotel speaks English.
