"This was exactly what we thought it would be. Please know that if you are an outdoors type person and just need a place to watch tv while you fall asleep then this is for you. Keep in mind it is small but very comfortable. Woke up and had my coffee with about 25 manatee in the water just outside the camper!! How neat to see them and all the fish and sharks too. Would definitely stay here again and try my luck at fishing next time. Outdoor shower did not disappoint and the water was nice and hot!...

"Location is far enough that it's gave the quiet serene feeling we were looking for. We even got to see firefly's for the first time since we were all kids. The road leading to the house is unpaved so please be careful. The property manager stayed on property near by in case we needed anything. Apologies if we watched movies to loud."

"The boathouse was perfect for me and my husband! We had everything we needed, took full advantage of the kayak and spent hours on the water!! It was just beautiful and we saw so many manatee!! The bed was comfy and the shower was great! Teddi goes above and beyond to make sure you’ve got everything you need including info about restaurants etc. I hope we’re lucky enough to stay here again someday."

"This home had everything we needed. My family and extended family (two German Shepherds) had a really great time. Every thing was so like brand new that I even conveyed to the owner that I was afraid to scratch or dirty anything. I asked the owner why he put "just basics" in the description. He responded there was no pool or hot tub .... so what. Great place to relax and to use as a base camp for anything that you want to do in the area. "Joe and Gina were excellent hosts for my 7 night stay at their newly remodeled rental property. Bed was comfortable, bathroom had a nice shower and a separate tub. Towels were thick and toiletries were provided. Kitchen area was well stocked with coffee pods for the Keurig and Gina had a bowl of fruit on the counter for me, including some fresh oranges from their tree! What a treat! The property is located just steps away from Lake Rouseau and about 5 houses from a public boat launching area....
