"We absolutely enjoyed our time here. This beautiful cottage is well equipped and the location is ideal. A beautiful village to enjoy walking around and a few pubs and a local grocery store all within walking distance. Castleton, High Peak, Bakewell, Chatsworth House are definitely places to visit. The owner was very accessible for any questions we had and very friendly. We highly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed."

"We had a lovely 3 days staying in Topcroft cottage. All bedrooms are great sizes and having the 2 en-suites was very helpful as we were travelling as 2 families of 4. There is plenty of space for 8 people, the wood burner kept us cosy as the weather wasn’t as warm as we had hoped! Phillipa was so kind and dropped in a freshly baked cake and bread when we arrived, these went down a storm with all. The cottage is in Hathersage and attached to the village pharmacy. "The property is modern, clean and warm with the pictures and listing giving an accurate impression. The only slight criticism we have was that the sofa was a little uncomfortable for sitting on. Also, the parking location wasn't that clear, but we did manage to park outside the property. "Good location, easy to walk to and from the train station at the airport. The room was very basic. All you need is in it such as kettle, electric and usb sockets. A desk off sorts, air conditioning and in my case twin beds. The decor was a very fetching orange. For the 1 night that I stayed is was ideal. I ate in the sister hotel opposite which had a varied menu. I recommend that you book a table to avoid disappointment or queuing. "
