The Apartment is a good size & well equipped. The rooms all provide great views of the area. Booked our stay here after realising we had not stayed in Derbyshire before & so pleased we did, thank you Elaine for making us feel so welcome."

"Nice place to stay when visiting nearby towns, very spacious apartment which made for a very relaxed feel. Pleasant village with pub below. Handy having a kitchen as food options are limited. Noise from the pub wasn't too bad but it was quite noisy from the kitchen below the kids room, which had music on loud! We had to put kids to bed in the other room then move them back in later in the evening. "

"The Cotton Rooms was perfectly located for everything in Matlock, plus lots of walks nearby. Spotlessly clean and with lots of added touches, including a lovely Christmas tree! Just a bit noisy on the road at night but it was New Year and we were next to a few pubs so was as expected. Great stay, would definitely go back!"

"I booked this break for a 2 day break having seen the property on line and picked it out as somewhere I wanted to stay. Everything was exactly as per the photos. Really high quality, lovely and clean, excellent location, very well presented, and quiet. Great for a couples break and so convenient for shopping, walking or just sitting in the local park and watching the world go by. Plenty of places to eat nearby, would thoroughly recommend!"

"Had a whole holiday cottage to myself for the price of a hotel room. Really generous and varied breakfast provisions, with spacious kitchen and dining area to enjoy it in. With a washing machine and airer in the property, I was able to get a load of washing done overnight, as the cottage was really warm. The only negative was the WiFi, which I found very poor, and phone signal is limited too."

The location was perfect, right by The Roaches, great for walks from the door step and close by to other amazing locations in the Peak District.
