Amazing stay, thank you so much!
Delicious dinner & excellent service, upgraded too as I have a bad back which was very kind of the staff, thank you again!
Really nice and relaxing hotel in beautiful surroundings. It was clean and staff were friendly. Pricey drinks and a hard bed but bearable for 1 night.

This is one of the most beautiful places in the New Forest, it needs some finer touches adding, finishing the painting on window ledges for example. But it's a huge property to maintain! Generally a good standard.
We based ourselves here for a long weekend to visit some places in the New Forest, we found it a pleasant and comfortable hotel, ideally placed for our requirements with lovely views and nice staff.
We stay in plenty of hotels throughout the country and this is probably the best we have found in quite some time.
I stay at Burley Manor most weeks on Business. Love it here. The most peaceful place I've ever stayed in. The hole place gives off a sense of calm as soon as you walk through the wonderful old wooden entrance doors. Sat out in the evening watching the red dear grazing is something special.
Very comfortable and well appointed room. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Dog friendly. Many deer outside the hotel and pigs wandering around the grounds. A very enjoyable weekend
Lovely, comfortable hotel, in a beautiful location with friendly and helpful staff. The only downsides were the noise from a wedding party until 12.00 am on one night and the restaurant wasn't quite as good as we would have liked: dinner was tasty rather than delicious and the breakfast pancakes were a definite let-down.
The check-in was quick and easy and very friendly. The room was clean and tidy, perfect for just myself and my dog. I loved the fact that we had a door from our room straight into a garden area
My friend and I had an absolutely lovely overnight stay here. I was a little apprehensive having read some previous reviews but I was pleasantly surprised! The staff are really lovely and friendly. The setting is beautiful and our room was great! We will definitely come back!
Amazing staff, great food, room was perfect - loved the balcony and view. Excellent little details everywhere. A perfect stay! Thank you

Fine for one night
The building and grounds are impressive but our room (small double) was a bit tired with scuffs on the walls, the window frames worn and splintered and the windows were wobbly in the frames, thus letting out a draft. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was good with a powerful hot shower and lovely smelling toiletries. We stayed for just one night for a wedding.
Lovely hotel stay. I stayed there with my husband for the night in July 2024 and had a really lovely time. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. We could see deer running across the grounds from our bedroom window - absolutely gorgeous. We did not eat in the hotel for dinner or breakfast based on previous reviews on trip advisor.
Excellent old property, everything you’d want from an older place. Lovely gardens, variety of comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Great bar tender, great cocktail . Topped off with a hhherd of deer wondering in the garden.
Well kept. Breakfast was nice. Beautiful ground. Good parking space. Sound insulation was not good in a period building, we could hear neighbouring guest’s snore!
Amazing location. Friendly and attentive staff. Relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Easy access to the village and new forest. Also near Ringwood, Christchurch and several other great places to visit like Lymington, Milford on Sea etc. parking and access ideal. Facilities all perfect. Will definitely be staying again. Also recommend the drift which is part of the same hotel collection which we enjoy as it's right in the beautiful new forest. A highlight was seeing the pigs and deer up close #AMAZING
Beautiful setting in a country house right in the village of Burley. Walk past green pastures, along the driveway and you are there. Sit on the front patio and watch the deer walk by, and eat right in front of you. Two comfortable lounges, and a Bar, really nice Dining Room. Full Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu's. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Tea and Expresso, complimentary water and sparkling water.

The staff where perfect, the food was excellent. Unfortunately, the building is in need of a lot of capital investment.
The plumbing is poor, the window frames are rotten the curtains are torn and the dining room upholstery is thread bare and tatty.
Just basicaly run down and not mantained. Needs more money spent on the up keep. The service staff are doing a great job, the cooking staff are doing a 1st class job. The building is just crumbling away due to old age and neglect.

It looks perfect…deer park/views from reception are beautiful. Peaceful location. However, rooms need to be cleaner, and flaky paint etc needs sorting out.
NO Wi-Fi in bedrooms, and poor connectivity within other areas.
Poor TV signal too, and lounge area smelt of dog urine !!!.
Breakfast area was relaxing and lovely views.
