"Our stay was what we expected and more. The property was exactly as described and I highly recommend. The kitchen, living room, dining room, bedroom and bathroom were all spacious and very comfortable. Gill was a great host. "The property was not well kept, they fail to mention it is on a noisy and busy intersection. Room constantly smelled of Tobacco/Cigarettes. There was some suspect white powdery substance on a side plate, burnt underneath by flames left over from the previous tenant. So was not properly cleaned upon our arrival. "We booked and paid for a one night stop over as we were travelling back to the USA the following day. Up until 2 hours before check-in we had still not received check-in instructions from the host? We were left stranded in Crawley, sitting in a Cafe, with tons of luggage, frantically trying to contact the host and thereafter VRBO customer service. We ended up having to find alternate accommodation at the very last minute. This host / property should be removed from the VRBO website!!"

"Filthy kitchen, filthy fridge, smelly microwave. You could not use any of the crockery unless you washed it first. The crockery was put back in the cupboards unwashed. There was no hot water. The kitchen cupboards had sticky handles and I felt simply unclean being there. I booked 6 nights but left in the morning after the first night. I’ve seen reviews of this place a year old echoing my comments so the owner takes no notice of reviews. Beware. "
