"Beautiful hotel! The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Several water bottles were left for us each day. Very close to a subway station and restaurants. There are also 2 restaurants right in the hotel, one having breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets with LOTS of delicious food. We took the option of including the daily breakfast buffet (6:30-10:30 am) with our booking, which was convenient. Highly recommended!"

"A bit confusing at first. I'd booked the Xinjiang Hotel and they couldn't find the booking. Then referred me to the Xinjiang Plaza 100 meters away. Very frustrating when you cant find anyone that speaks English. Apart from that it was a very good place to stay. When I booked at the hotel it excluded breakfast. At the plaza the price included breakfast and was cheaper."

"This hotel is in the northwest part of Beijing. It is near the Summer Palace, Beijing University, and QingHua University. It is a 10-15 minute walk to two different subway stops (Yuanmingyuan and Xiyuan on line 4). The staff was friendly but did not speak English. The beds were hard, and the shower had no side boundary, so the water got all over the bathroom floor. The price was good, though it did not include breakfast."

Here is detail story, I booked it at price RMB480 via hotels.com, but when I check in, the hotel front desk told me that there is no room except I pay RMB 580 (China Currency). The only building used as a hotel has shown signs of aging: pealing Wall paper, stained carpet, scratches in the hall way and elevator, old furniture and fixtures, patches on doors, suspicious dark residue in bathroom, stagnant and wet, unpleasant odor...
