"My parents are buried in Horning, so Norfolk has lots of memories. I decided I wanted to celebrate my 60th in Winterton on Sea. We’ve stayed in various cottages in the area, but Larner’s Lodge was by far the best bungalow. We had to stay in the Fisherman’s Return on our first night, so took a sneaky peak at the outside of Larner’s Lodge later that day. Situated down a private driveway, set in a very pleasant location. The bungalow was clean, spacious the perfect place to stay for my 60th....

"Our family’s stay was fantastic! We spent a total of 4 nights here and our stay was amazing, the house has easy access to the seafront and the high street which are all in a 5 minute walking distance which makes it a great place to stay for families, but just as a comment it could do with some grass in the garden for dogs. Comment to the owners, thank you for our lovely stay and all the help you provided us with 😊"

"The place is lovely and the host seems to have thought of everything. Home made bread and cupcakes were a very nice touch. Location is great for getting to family-friendly attractions (e.g. Bewilderwood). Warm, comfy, finished to a high standard, excellent bathrooms. Our son enjoyed the box of Lego. Really can't fault it!"

"We love winterton and this cottage was lovely, location excellent for walks on beach or to somerton Managed to see the seals at horsey and had walk to local pub. Would definitely recommend and we will be back"

"The cottage is within a short walk of the sea, the beach is accessible via a steep path after approximately ten minutes. There is a bench to sit on and admire the view of the sea if you don’t fancy the steep path. The cottage itself was spacious, 3 nice bedrooms with the comfiest beds I’ve slept in for a long time. A decent bathroom with a bath and overhead shower and wc. There is also a separate room with a stand alone shower cubicle. The kitchen supplies were brilliant with plenty of crockery...

"The house is exactly as advertised, and communication with owner Helen was easy. She answered all our questions so quickly. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the location is close to an outstanding chippy and only a short walk from the high street. I cannot recommend it enough!"

"The whole experience of this house didn't disapoint any of our family expecations. The cleanliness, quietness, hot tub, steam room and on site swimming pool and whirlpool was brilliant. "I stayed in this property because my husband was in nearby James Padget hospital. The property was an ideal location as it was an easy 5 minute drive to the hospital. It provided a comfortable and well appointed base with the added bonus of a parking space. I would be happy to use the property again. Hopefully, in happier circumstances."

"We stayed here for Christmas 2023 and really enjoyed our stay. The house is conveniently located in the village of Rollsby, in a quiet location but still close enough to the main roads leading to supermarkets, pubs and other local attractions. Communication from the owners was both helpful and thoughtful. The house was furnished with everything we needed for our stay (and loads more!) and we were grateful that the owners had also put in the extra effort of adding a Christmas tree, fully laid...

"Lovely bungalow, clean and fresh. Nice garden for our dogs to run around without getting out. Quiet area, felt like you were in the middle of nowhere when you are out in the garden. If we visit the area again will definitely book again. James the manager kept in touch before and during our stay to make sure everything was OK"

"Very nice bungalow, fully enclosed high fence garden.which was important for us as we have a dog. Great space inside and shops were only a 2 min walk away. Beach is also close can’t recommend this place enough"

"We enjoyed our stay and the property was in a good location for us, a short walk from the beach and Bus stops so we didn't need to worry about finding parking. Our only problem was that the stairs are quite steep and, being retired and not in the best of health, my husband struggled with that."

"The chalet was clean and comfortable apart from the ants in all bedrooms and bathroom, they got into handbags and luggage. It’s a quiet location. However internet was down. the smoke detector works when you use toaster or cooker. So had to have cold or eat out. So couldn’t really use as self catering. Ants and smoke detector really let it down if those issues were sorted would be lovely"

"I stayed here for work and found it a perfect location. Steve was very good with communication and answering all my questions. The room was very modern with lots of gadgets which could be a little tricky but once you got the hang of it was all ok. I stayed 4 nights and looked to re book the same room the following week but unfortunately it had gone. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. "
