Family Friendly Refurbished Detached Country Cottage set in Castle Grounds
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (58)
"Strathendrick House was the first stop in a family trip to the Highlands. We found everything about this beautiful home and the area to be perfect and wish we had planned to stay longer. Hector and Heather were responsive and extremely helpful. We loved visiting the restaurants (delicious food options) and grocer in Drymen and found everyone to be so welcoming and helpful. The excellent rating for this property is very accurate and well deserved."

"I stayed overnight at CrossBasket Castle with my boyfriend as he received a generous voucher for the Michel Roux Jr tasting menu. The hotel and staff are absolutely brilliant and extremely knowledgeable and hospitable. The food is exquisite and it’s possibly one of the finest cheese boards we have ever had. "Great location, staff were excellent - courteous & friendly. We stayed as an extended trip for my husband's birthday & upon arrival in the room, there was a hand written note along with some chocolates. Such a kind gesture. The hotel is older, and looking tired in parts however the decor is really lovely especially if you are a fan of Charles Rennie Mackintosh ( which I am!) The Heritage Hotel

8.2 out of 10, Very good, (461)
"Great for food in the evening because you are close to local shops and cafes/ restaurants also subway stop. Windows don’t open. So much dust on radiators and sink dirty. Bad smell in room. Parking is based on first come based only. Reception man upon arrival was fantastic extremely nice and helpful. Night lady with short light hair on reception was very rude and snappy. Terrance used for smokers - most often harsh substances that you can really smell. "
