We arrived early and they let us check in early. It was a nice surprise because most hotels do not allow you to do this. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The only thing that we had any problems with were the pillows. They were quite flimsy and felt like you were just sleeping on the mattress. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good. I would get it included with the room. They do have parking, but call ahead to get a spot. Overall we had a very good experience with this hotel. Very, Very pleased!
Although we only ended up staying one night at this hotel, we enjoyed the experience. The lobby is very attractive, the front desk staff was friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English (along with German, of course, and probably several other languages).
The room was great -- long and relatively narrow, but much larger than many urban hotels in Europe. There was plenty of room for two people, and although the hotel said that the room wasn't suitable for three people there was more than enough room for a rollaway bed.
The breakfast buffet was very complete and well laid out. My only disappointment was that there were no tables available on the terrace as I would have enjoyed eating there.
Young man at the reception desk make the hotel great. He is from Portugal and speaks 5 or six languages perfectly, including English.
He helped make up for the elevator not working and we had a room on the 5 (6) floor.
Great hotel for the price. Manageable walk from train station.

Best Western ApartHotel is in a perfect location. A 20 minute walk through a gorgeous neighborhood along the river to Nymphenburg Palace. There you can catch the hop on hop off bus. The tram runs right in front of the hotel. The stop is a 2minute walk to the corner. At that corner there is a great bakery, a restaurant bar and across the street a little store that is sort of like a pharmacy. The tram 20 or 21 takes a few minutes and you are downtown Munich. Lots of great shopping surrounded by historical churches and landmarks. A great market. We were there for Octoberfest. The tram #19 from downtown dropped us off about 3 blocks from the festival.
The hotel has a great restaurant. We had breakfast and dinner there. The food and service was excellent.
Staff at the desk very helpful and friendly. Rooms large and a small kitchenette with frig kettle ect..We were in the front of the building a busy street at times a little noisy. When windows closed not a problem.
When we return to Munich for Octoberfest I would stay there again and I would recommend it to others.
