"We are interested in the restoration of this speci"
We love the ambience of the hotel. It is quietly elegant and ver comfortable. We love the period decoration in each guest room. Breakfast looking into the courtyard was very airy and fresh. Your staff was very polite and helpful. We would definitely recommend your hotel to our friends.
Hotel was great! Wonderful boutique hotel in the traditional Penang style, central location (easy to walk to most places) with one of the best staffs I have ever encountered. Great full breakfast and if you get tired of Asian/Malaysian food, has a top notch Italian restaurant.
Very nice hotel in the heart of Georgetown, very close to city bus station, shopping mall, food hawkers and near Free Bus route. The hotel provides free shuttle bus service to Golden Sand beach resort hotel at Batu Feringgi.
Jen Hotel is very clean and well maintained.
Once i enter the "Anson" room i feel like home. A touch of local heritage vintage style, rich in local histories about Penang. Spacious, simple and clean setup which i really like about this house. Surrounding with many green plant and wooden design which making the environment more cozy and chilled. Only The white fluorescent light inside the room really kills the mood of the room. Wish they do consider using warm colour lighting instead.
Only problems i have it was the road in front the house, it was very noisy at night which make me couldn't really enjoy my good sleep.
"Nice hotel, near transport and good area for cafes"
Very nice hotel with interesting art and architecture, felt very special to stay in. Very comfortable with all amenities you require, pool is unfortunately right by the restaurant so a bit 'fish bowl' like. The restaurant and bar are nice but rather expensive for what you get- but there are so many cute cafes and delicious hawker stalls nearby that you are spoilt for choice.
A really good find, a very unique place to stay!

Excellent location, within easy walk to the main tourist areas - and the Weld Quay Bus Station which made it very easy to explore the island (Thirty Ringits for 7 days travel pass). Lovely staff. Very comfortable for our 6 night stay.
