"This was a great spot for exploring local areas of interest and visiting friends just across the border. A day excursion by car to the spectacular Shropshire Hills completed my stay. The accommodation was perfect for myself and my travelling companion Lenny the greyhound. He had the run of the garden and the field beyond for morning zoomies. "We’ve just had a great 4 night stay at this very comfortable and modern converted barn. The view from the balcony through the double bi-fold doors is extremely relaxing with donkeys, cows, horse and pheasants in the adjoining fields and paddocks. Although rural, Whitchurch and Wem are just a short drive for amenities. Parking is behind a private gated entrance. Highly recommended - in fact we’ve already booked a return visit."

"Wow wow wow, we absolutely loved this little find, 'The Stable' is a beautiful place to stay, the surroundings are stunning, the accomodation is clean, beautifully furnished, excellently equipped and the host was lovely. The road leading up to the property is a bit of a bumpy one with a few potholes but the hosts prepare you for that in the well informed directions to the property. We will DEFINITELY be returning again next year, just perfect."
