"Douglas Cottage exceeded expectations. It was delightfully decorated in Georgian and Victorian styles but managed to perfectly combine historical charm with all the necessary mod-cons. The hosts, Barbara and Andrew, greeted us on arrival and showed us around the cottage and explained how everything worked. They thoughtfully saved us a parking spot directly outside the house (residents permit only) and provided us with a lovely basket of goodies. The location is absolutely ideal, about 100 yards...

"Property is ideal for a couple, short or longer stay. Very clean and comfortable. Location is excellent within a quiet area very close to City Centre. Great shops - highly recommended Butcher - and three great Pubs with nearest next door but one and furthest about a minute away. Parking on road is limited to 30 minutes between 0800 and 1800, but parking available close by, and was ok. Would recommend this property."

"Just returned from a short break up in north Wales having stayed at Tŷ Tabitha Wynne. The communication up to and during the stay was great from Fliss and we felt very welcome upon arrival. The house has had a lot of love put into it and it’s great that the original features and building methods have been preserved. The house is well equipped and cosy. "I like the convenience of walking to many places around. The staff was pretty good. There is a major issue with two things: Quality of the mattress Washing machines were not working. You have only two Peking machines for an entire building. Some are out of order and they are so small that you have to do two loads of laundry. Management or The owner should invest more money to upgrade the room mattresses and the laundry rooms"

"It was more affordable than other places near the centre, only 5-10 minutes walk to Lime Street station. The apartment was clean and quiet too and check-in was straight forward. Only issue I had was a very uncomfortable bed that made a lot of noise every time you moved because it was a fold-away bed. They had put a mattress topper on to try and help but did not sleep well. Fine for one night but I wouldn't want to sleep there for consecutive nights on that bed. "
