Clean and tidy with sea views over park

Posted 05-Mar-2014
We went shopping to 2 days and spent one night at the hotel. Including having breakfast. One day was not enough would have loved to have stayed there longer and I guess that says it all!

warm and friendly

Posted 22-Feb-2014
Pros: cleanliness
Cons: lift,
Location: there were lots to do bars, restaurant on the sea front.
rooms were comfortable n clean, my only problem it was on the fourth floor and there is no lift available problem. not when someone has a knee problem, they were kind enough to move us the following day to the first floor I would recommend it.

Nice location. Hotel needs modernisation.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: 150 characters is not enough.
Location: Location fine. Way too overpriced for the facilities on offer. Not sure re the * rating. Perhaps that needs looking into
Very dull. Needs freshening up.

Nice, clean, simple hotel close to sea front.

Posted 11-Nov-2013
Pros: Clean, warm, original features to building.
Cons: Croissants with the continental breakfast and mugs for tea/coffee as well as cups. Raspberry or strawberry jams would be nice.

Unpretentious hotel near seafront

Posted 24-Oct-2013
Pros: Inexpensive, quiet, short walk to the seafront.
Cons: Clean the bedroom window - it was filthy!
Location: Near the seafront and the town.
We were promised a room with sea view but the sea view was at an angle and could only be seen by contortion - or leaning out of the window. No lift, but staff willingly carried luggage up to third floor. Breakfast good, but alas not real coffee.

Hotel Basic But OK, Breakfast Very Disappointing.

Posted 19-Sep-2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel itself is functional: it's clean but there's nothing particularly exciting about it. I was only staying on a business trip so really I just needed a bed for the night, which the hotel provided. I had paid extra for breakfast which was pretty terrible. I went down the first morning and it was just a bowl of fruit, some bread and a toaster and a tub of Nescafe. I wish I'd known this in advance otherwise I wouldn't have paid extra. Otherwise staff were friendly and it's in a good location.
