"Lovely property, very spacious. Can make sure the dog mess is cleared from the lawn. We were approached just before 10.30am on our last day as we were about to leave and told we should be out of the property by 10am and the cleaner had been waiting since 10.05am. On the information it states you don’t have to leave until 10.30. "

"This property is excellent for a target market of people travelling for work who just need a functional place to sleep and aren't fussy about the conveniences and luxuies usual in holiday let properties. We were happy with our stay because we had full days planned and were only in the property from 10pm to 8am each day, but I wouldn't recommend a holiday here if relaxing at the property would be part of the plan. The staircase is too steep for anyone older than 65ish or younger than 7ish....

Carl was brilliant in communicating with me when I booked for the group and met us with a warm welcome on arrival. He gave a tour of the house giving us all the information we needed. "The pictures don’t do the property justice! Such a nice place and area, although it was a tad dirty when we arrived so had to clean up a bit. The host was communicative and told me all the information I needed to know, was a great stay with my family and friends for my birthday :)"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Rectory Farm for the Christmas Holidays. We stayed in the two bedroom loft which was perfect for our family. We saw some fantastic wildlife including a badger, ducks, birds and loved the rolling green English countryside."

"The property has a high standard, there are a few things however that could be improved on. Wardrobe space is sadly lacking and could be placed on the landing. Also a chair in the bedroom. Please dont be so stringy with the toilet rolls. Willprobably"

"Lovely little house, with everything you need for a home from home. Downsides- there is child lock on the Wi-fi, not good for a tradesman working away. Cold house- woke up every morning shivering. Wasn’t sure how to set heating timer. And next door there are elderly neighbours who must be deaf- they are night owls and I’m sure their tv is directly opposite the wall of bed stand. Was maybe 2am before all was quiet. Also nothing to do with house but there were scrambler bikes going up and down...

"Thank you so much to Rebecca what a gracious hostess! We had such a lovely stay at "Carter's yard". The cottage was clean, comfortable and a perfect location in Kimbolton. Convenient small market nearby for any essentials within walking distance and wonderful cafe next door (Crawford's). We felt so at home during our stay and Rebecca made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. Directions provided by hostess were accurate we were able to check-in without any issues. "The property was clean and adequate for our needs for 2 nights but we felt that some updating and repairs to the property were required. The major problem was the awful noise in the evenings from some of the neighbors and children which made it impossible to sit outside. No consideration for others until 11pm. I'm sorry to say we won't be using this property again."

Clean and comfortable from top to bottom, with all the basic supplies thoughtfully provided, e.g. milk, marmalade, washing soap, etc. For the best sleep, if 'sensitive,' bring an eye mask and use the provided ear plugs.
