"Our ten day stay began with the wonderful meeting of Francesco, our host. He is truly that as he takes care of you like you are his family. Anything we asked, he provided with ease. We enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by the chef and served impeccably. It was my husband’s birthday dinner and we had a cake and sparklers!! Beautiful location offering village charm with full access to the other lake locations. Should we decide to visit Como again we would choose the Villa again."

The location is slightly rural, and you will require a car to explore, however most major places around the lake are no more than 1 hours drive, with most being much closer, great for scenic walks. I cannot recommend this place enough, we will return some...

"Ho soggiornato solo sei ore su sette giorni prenotati perché ho avuto un problema grave di salute e non mi è stato rimborsato un centesimo su un importo enorme versato. La comunicazione con il proprietario scarsa, le luci dell atrio e del boschetto bruciate quindi risultava inagibile di sera e non in sicurezza. La tv solo in tedesco. Il cinema non ho potuto usufruirlo perché alle mie richieste mi hanno risposto dopo giorni. Pulizia della casa non perfetta. Posizione e panorama stupenda....

"Plenty of room for everyone and stunning views of Lake Como! We enjoyed cooling off in the pool after a day of exploring Varenna and Menaggio. "Loved our visit to Villa Silvana. Luigi was very helpful and quickly available when needed. The view exceeded expectations! Amenities were ample even with the villa fully booked. One thing to note, the walk to the castle and to Varenna is very steep , limited taxi service and bus service. Also the train from Milan only takes you to Lierna but we took the ferry to Veranna with no problems. So plan ahead if you have a tight schedule. Once there, it’s paradise and well worth the visit. "It was great to look at the lake. Just be prepared for a lot of stairs and narrow streets with a lot of turns. Some of the issues were that there was still some food left in the fridge, the garbage wasn't clean, the hot water finishes pretty quickly!"

"The property was good and we enjoyed our stay. The address provided was incorrect, it is number 29 rather than 9 so that caused some confusion when we arrived. It is also uphill from the town so would recommend a car or a taxi. There were no Ubers available in Menaggio. The view from the property is beautiful and the house worked well for us."
