"Hotels don't often exceed expectations but the Priory did. From the moment we arrived we felt well looked after - the rooms were big, clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable and the restaurant was excellent. The level of hospitality was just right and we felt very welcomed. As a bonus, the garden was lovely - full of culinary plants, which I saw the chef cutting first thing, and beautifully kept. We felt that the staff really minded about the quality of their guests' experience in all areas...

"This property, a freehouse since the 18th century, is exactly what I expected. Close to all Bath city sights, rooms are efficient and have everything you need. The property has had recent painting to lighten and brighten the spaces and they are inviting in a relaxed manner you would expect of a freehouse, that is the charm of the place. There is a bit of street noise but nothing not expected from city living. I throughly enjoyed my stay."

We ate in the restaurant each of the nights we were there. The staff were very accommodating to me in my choice of food as I have a very small appetite they agreed that I could have a lunch time meal as a dinner as they were smaller. "We had a brilliant few days staying here for a girls getaway! The building is easy to find, super safe and very clean. Our room was very warm but they had already thought of that, with 2 huge fans kept in the room for us, making us more comfortable. The customer service was very efficient and always available to help. The only thing I would note is that there are no lifts there and we were on the top floor with heavy suitcases. Other than that it is a super location and we would definitely stay...
