“Excellent Beds - Great Lobby”

My buddies and I had a great stay at this hotel. We were in town to see the Cubs clinch the Division title. The lobby was beautiful and smelled fresh everytime we walked in. The hotel is very centrally located with lots of restaurants, bars, shopping and recreational areas within walking distance.

“very satisfactory”

Solid good-quality hotel. Apart from the view across the river, nothing to take your breath away, but if you need to spend some nights in Chicago, this is a valid option. If I get to stay in Chicago again, I will certainly consider this hotel.

“I want to go back to Chicago just to stay at this great hotel!”

Wow, I love a great hotel (I think it is part of the fun of being on vacation) and the Renaissance met all my expectations! The beds were so comfortable that in the mornings we almost didn't want to go see Chicago because we wanted to stay in bed. This was by far the best hotel bed I have ever slept in. Our view was amazing. The hotel staff was extremely helpful. After a day of sight seeing we would come back to the hotel and there would be chilled lime water in the lobby it was so refreshing. I'm usually not a big fan of room service food but the pizza was so good at the hotel that we had room service twice. Plus, our room was super clean! I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Chicago!

“Luxurious Hotel, Perfect Location, 5 Stars All Around”

I came to see the Cubs and White Sox play, and was delighted to discover that I could catch the train to both stadiums at the CTA station right behind the Renaissance. That saved me a ton of hassle and taxi fare. Additionally, all the glorious shops of North Michigan Avenue are a short walk from the hotel. Spacious rooms, especially for Chicago. I had a river view room, which I highly recommend, as the view was spectular both day and night. Very comfy bed and luxurious bathroom. Just what I'd expect from a hotel of this calibur.

“Excellent location”

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and it was quite comfortable and convenient. Our initial impression was not good as there was some construction going on in the building that required a jackhammer or some such for several hours. However, once that was finished, the room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The charge for internet access is very high (more than $17 per day) which doesn't go down well when you're paying the prices charged here.

“Loved it!!”

Loved it, great location, near convenience stores, Michigan Ave., and theatre district. Also had a huge room with couch and chair, and the most heavenly bed. Will stay again!!!

“Best experience in any hotel in recent memory.”

Every employee got the memo. The positive attitude adjustment in a soft economy started at doorman and extended to every contact with staff. I felt like a valued customer. Folks couldn't do enough for me. A complete pleasure.
