“My favorite Chigago Hotel!”

I stayed here about 5 years ago when they opened and was very impressed then. Their standards have remained the same - the service from the valet, the bellman, the front desk and housekeeping was top notch. The staff are all very personable, even at 5:30 am when I needed my car and directions!I would suggest this hotel for anyone that wants more than the typical chain offers.

“In the heart of the theatre district”

We absolutely loved the hotel and staff. Our location enabled us to walk everywhere we wanted to in the city. The room decor was sumptious! We definately recommend Hotel Burnam. Thank you.

“A classy place”

I enjoyed staying in a hotel that was historic but classy. I was able to go in and out of the hotel and my room without any interruption or delay. The room itself was well decorated, spotless, and comfortable.

“First stay, now a favorite”

I'm a Kimpton fan and this hotel makes me even more of one. It's cozy, elegant, and very welcoming yet it understands the business traveller. I was very squeezed for time at breakfast and without my even saying so, the staff responded very quickly and had a cab for me when I walked out front. The extra touches (e.g. flavors options for the complimentary coffee in the lobby) and the can-do attitude of the staff throughout the property are much appreciated.

“One of the best places to stay in Chicago!”

An extremely nice and accommodating hotel staff working in a phenomenal building. Everything was perfect including the level of comfort and location. Kitty corner from us was the old Marshall Field's building with breathtaking mosaics. From our window, you can see Millennium Park and the truly amazing Frank Gehry sculptures, along with many others. Not only is the park within two or three short blocks, so is the Art Institute of Chicago.

If you value the incredible architecture of Chicago, and want be be a part of the history of the City, this is the Hotel for you. The hotel has a terrific location, steps from Millennium Park. And you get to stay in an early skyscraper, saved from the wrecking ball. What a treat.

“Great time in Chicago!”

Excellent, great location, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff in all shifts were the friendliest most competent group of hotel workers I have ever experienced. They went out of their way to make sure that you felt at home and were having fun. The nightly wine tasting was a nice way to interact with other guests. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Chicago and the Burnham hotel,

“Awesome experience!”

I have stayed at Kimpton properties in other cities and was mostly satisfied, staff not always helpful and the style of the properties not my style. The Burnham was absolutely amazing! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the remodel of the hotel was unbelievable, when stepping of the elevator I thought I was in a brand new office building from the 20's. The open staircase appeared to have the original wrought iron and marble. The room doors had the opaque glass window and mail slot (mirrored in the room and mail slot was closed off), very fun! The Atwood Cafe was also the best. I will look forward to staying here again when business brings me back to Chicago.

“We will return!”

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. We found it last year when going to their in-house restaurant. The hotel is in a lovely historic building; you can tell by how they designed the door to the room that it had previously been an entrance to to an office; from the inside it was a mirror. While the rooms are not spacious, the quality and beauty of the accommodations more than makes up for it. They made every inch count. The service could not have been better and more friendly. The location (a short walk to Millenium Park) was fantastic.
