“wonderfful windy city”
Fantastic hotel - great location and excellent rooms - just a sham a later check out was not available
“LUXURY STANDARD HOTEL, GREAT LOCATION”
I stayed at the Conrad for two nights - 24/25 May - having returned to Chicago following a 6,000 mile AMTRAK journey across the US. On these dates the Conrad had better rates than my earlier hotel, and I was not disappointed with my choice. I was traveling solo but there was no skimping with my accommodation which was in a huge room and quite luxurious. The only (very) minor carp was the absence of a coffee making machine, but that is a small point given the standard of everything else, including the bath robes and slippers if you wanted to use them. Everything about this hotel is 'top notch' and the check-in desk staff very helpful. The hotel is in a super downtown location close to the Magnificent Mile, the River Walk , theater district etc and around a twenty minute walk to the Navy Pier which is well worth a visit. Plus, if you are a jazz/blues fan, the wonderful Jazz Record Mart is just round the corner! Highly recommended, this hotel is as near to 'perfect' as I've come, and at a very good price. Check it out!
“Great Location”
Great location on the Miracle Mile (through the Northbridge Mall - "Nordstrom" written over entrance). The main entrance on Rush street spills out onto the Northbridge shops/restaurants. Short walk to the CTA (Grand/Red line). Mall has plenty of choices, plus a Starbucks and a Walgreens within 2 blocks (on Michigan). All felt very safe. John Hancock also walkable distance (take a fast pass if there is a queue).
“Very satisfied!”
Everything was great! Check-in/check-out was very easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic - very central and very easy to get to. The rooftop restaurant was overpriced, so my wife and I opted to dine at the many restaurants nearby instead (there are plenty of options available). Would definitely stay at the Conrad Chicago again.
