“pay for convenience”
Location, location, location: best thing about the hotel is that it's located at 53 and Rand Rd. It was the closest to the Lutheran Home, so good for visiting relatives or, as in my case, going to a funeral. Great for hopping back on the expressway in the morning. The room was spacious but basic--bring your own clock. Staff helpful; convienience store next door.
“Palantine”
This property was not very attractive from the outside, nice friendly staff inside and the property was clean and well taken care of. The neighborhood was marginal and there were no other hotel properties close by. All in all the stay was better than I initially expected.
“Just your typical hotel”
The room smelled pretty bad. The pool was ok but there were no pool towels or towels big enough to cover a person.
“Not impressed”
The room was O.K. The hotel was pretty dated. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable.
“Very average”
The hotel was noisy, the bed was rock hard, and the breakfast was a bagel and cereal.
“Dissatisfied”
The hotel is sub-standard in cleanliness and appearance. My family refused to stay there.
