The hotel staff is exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The rooms and lounge areas are beautifully decorated and very clean. The hotel is a very short walk from the Chateau entrance (the walls are 50 feet away), from the old town, and from the bridge over the river. About a fifteen minute walk from the railroad station. Rooms on the second floor (using the ground floor, first floor, second floor system) are spacious, with historic beams and sloped ceilings. Our bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom is large, with a comfortable tub and plenty of hot water. The hotel staff greeted us warmly whenever we came or left. They helped us communicate with the tour companies we had booked. They arranged an early morning cab for us. And corrected an error I had made in the date of the reservation.

The staff was very nice and friendly. Excellent location. The room was quiet, warm and clean. Breakfast was simple but good. The only down side is the size of the bathroom, which is tiny! The room itself is confortable but quite small as well. We could safely park our bikes at their car parking. Overall, it was really good to stay at Le Blason!

We stayed for two nights in June 2014 while visiting chateaux of the Loire Valley. The hotel is neat, comfortable and good value for money. We arrived late and were provided with room service. We enjoyed the cute breakfast room appreciated the free off-street parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A very good base for touring the Loire. Decent walk into town for dinner so we drove.

Took a while to find hotel. but when we got there found it was a good ,comfortable, clean hotel. We would have liked to explore Amboise but we were too far out of the town. It would be nice to have local transport into the town.
We had the evening meal and breakfast. Both were very nice, possibly overpriced.
Our experience was a good one and we enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.

After a long drive from Mont St Michel we were warmly greeted by reception. Our room was in the tower at the end of the hall which was quiet, spacious and tastefully furnished with antiques. Though our room was full of antiques, the bathroom was up to date.
We are glad we had two nights in the Chateau so we could experience their Michelin 1 star restaurant that was exceptional. We decided to go with the special menu of the evening which was a excellent 7 course seafood theme. Each course was artfully presented and a delight to the pallet with a appropriate time between each course. Our reservation was at 19:00 and when we finished we could not believe it was 23:00! It was great to not have to drive but to just walk upstairs to our room.
The staff at the chateau were very helpful with directions to the various sights. We would have had dinner twice at the chateau restaurant, but one night they were closed. So when I emailed 6 months before our arrival for dinner reservations they provided several restaurant recommendations and also offered to make a reservation for us!
The only "con" to the chateau was the value for the money for breakfast/ The spread was very good as was the quality of the food, but IMO, a bit pricey.
