We were staying over Christmas so visiting family on most of the days but able to spend a couple of evenings in the cottage. Some lovely touches with the fairy lights and the procseco to celebrate the season. Would love to stay again in the summer and be able to sit out with a glass of wine and admire the view. A lovely location even in winter - it must be even better in spring/summer. Sadly we had chosen the cottage because a hot tub was advertised as it would have helped with the children. "We booked lavender cottage for 2 nights whist visiting family. We are a family for 3 adults and 2 children. Communication with the owner was brilliant, he was very helpful. Cottage was lovely and clean. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Just a heads up if you have very young children or mobility issues, the stairs are quite steep. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be booking again sometime. Thanks for everything."
