"Our stay was brilliant . Looked after by Mirella . We had a comfortable room with the best breakfast ever tasted in any hotel . Beside all the cereals , home made Scottish porridge and bowls of fresh fruit . There was a menu listing everything . From smoked salmon to a full Scottish breakfast . This contained 2 eggs , 2 rashers bacon , sausage , tomato , mushrooms , black pudding , haggis , tatties , toast , and a bowl of beans . fruit juice , coffee . All made by Mirella's father . "Pros: Large apartment, close to the old city. Very quiet area. Cons: Very noisy doors. Please use lubricant for hinges. Hot water in the master bathroom does not work. Horrible white LED bulbs."

"Check In was helped by the presence of a staff member. This was fortunate as the coded key release system seemed to be playing up. We were in the basement room which was fine but the stairs were a little tricky with cases. The location is really good. 5 minutes walk from the Playhouse Theatre where we were seein a performance. It is just a 15 minutes walk from the railway station,10 from the bus station and 5 from a tram stop. We would happily stay here again."
