The hotel has very helpful staff and clean facilities. The exercise room and pool are located on the top floor (indoors) and unfortunately fairly small (exercise room contains one treadmill, one bicycle, and one 'total gym' machine; the pool is the length of a lap). The rooms are well kept and comfortable. The location is good if you're looking to be between the downtown markets, Liberdade, and Ibirapuera Park. This hotel is also a very short walk away from a grocery store, several lanchonetes, and shopping/sight seeing on Ave. Paulista.

Amazing hotel, I would recommend with my eyes closed. Their staff is amazingly friendly and very professional. They always receive you with a smile on their face and even seem genuinely happy to see you. They are willing to help anyway they can, whether getting you a taxi, or showing you a map or what activities you can do around the area, they are just amazing. By their staff alone they should get a PERFECT rating. The room was BIG and comfortable. Bathroom was really nice and clean. Air Conditioner worked marvelous specially in the hot summer weather in January. WiFi was terrific and only once it did not work and they fixed it within an hour. I didn't even need my laptop (which I had left home anyway) because they have two computers available for their guest. Sometimes I had to wait a bit to use one, but it was very convenient. The only tiny problem was getting to Avenida Paulista from this hotel. The location is great, don't get me wrong. The street is really safe and quiet, and there is a Taxi stand right outside the hotel a few steps away. But if you decide to walk to Paulista, you migth want to wear comfortable footware. All streets that take you up to Paulista are very steep hills for some people. For me they were OK, except the first day when I tried running 4 miles and decided to start at the hotel and go up those hills. Not a good idea for my calfs. But you get the idea. It's not THAT bad, but it might be a problem with those with physical impediments.
This experience was the bad one that I ever had in São Paulo, the room was no clean the restroom was ugly with fungus everywhere even in the ceiling, the balcony doors flipped the whole night ( I took pictures of everything to confirm this),the noice comming from the street of yelling drunkers like stray cats don't let you sleep.
So I will never recommend this creep hotel to anyone .I will dispute the charges with Expedia on my credit card, because I personally made a complaint with the manager and she said that they will cancel the reservation and the one night that I spend overthere,so I'm still waiting for that confirmation.
