From the get go we had a great experience. I had arranged pick up at the airport which worked no problem. We were met with flowers for my girlfriend and then taken back to the hotel in a nice Mercedes with a quick tour of Da Nang. Upon arrival everything was taken care of for us whilst we were shown to our room.
The room was big and what you see in the pictures is what you get. A comfy sofa, lovely balcony view over the ocean and huge comfy bed. The bathroom was big and spacious.
The food in the hotel was nice however there are plenty of places you can go outside for a nice meal also.
We spent a few days in Hoi An - the hotel arranged buses twice a day to Hoi An and transportation back.
There are two main pools, one over looking the ocean and a lagoon pool in the middle of the complex. Both were well maintained and we enjoyed many a day relaxing there. The ocean was beautiful however at the time of year we went (Oct) the surf was a bit to big to swim.
We have just returned from Da Nang and loved our stay at Fusion Maia. The place is really great and the staff are mostly friendly and warm. Spa treatments were not consistent though (some therapists were more friendly and skillful than others) and it is not unlimited as other than the guaranteed 2 spa treatments a day, it is impossible to get slots for additional appointments. This is actually fine if they mention that the package includes 2 spa treatments rather than unlimited. The survey we completed at the spa reception seems to be just a formality as we have indicated only female therapists but were given 2 male therapists for one of the treatments. However, despite some unpleasantness at the spa, our stay was really wonderful. Gus checked on us and when my hubby mentioned the pillow being too soft, he had a more appropriate one sent almost immediately! Ikumi too called to check that we were all good and they remembered anniversary and my birthday!
The Villa was beautiful, big and comfortable, the pool connected to the house was great. The staff was excellent and went out of their way to help when asked. The food at the pool area was good. There were barely any other visitors but those that were there were really friendly. When we wanted to jet ski, they arranged for it next door at the Furama. The beach was awesome. There is no charge to rent boogie boards. Having the kitchen allows you to cook your own food when you don't want to go down the restaurants.

We had 3 nights and 4 days of relaxation and it was wonderful to wander on the (or swim) beach, or swim in their pool. My wife used the gym and said that it was good. Every morning, we would go to the restaurant for the buffet breakfast (included in the price) and the staff would offer you a hot drink after you walked in. The staff were wonderful and friendly when you first walked in and that never changed. We would stay there for an hour, due to the food and the comfort within the restaurant. The whole experience was beyond what I thought that I would receive.
A very pleasant four days/nights. Rooms were very comfortable with great view of the beach. Wifi performance was good on handphone. My PC needed some sort of router password that I did not have...perhaps that is something in my hardware that made it impossible to connect.
Breakfast was simple, but they offered a handful options.
Staff was very pleasant and provided support for planning and setting up any tours
"Let's keep this gem as our secret! Wonderful stay!"
Great ocean view rooms, clean and very comfortable. Most importantly the staff were very helpful and friendly. It's a comparatively small cozy hotel and the staff are like a new extended family during your stay. Be aware ocean currents are strong, but one of the swimming areas with life guards on duty is right in front of the hotel. Although I didn't make it, apparently the beach is very busy in the early morning hours with locals doing exercising, swimming etc., so morning people should get up and enjoy this oppurtunity to meet some locals. Breakfast was good but limited as it's not a buffet, there is a menu of choices to pick 1 from that should suit almost everyone.
Stayed one night only but close to restaurants and marble mountain. You will need to take taxi but will not cost you a lot. Large room with big bed. Just to warm you that it is hard bed which was alright for me. Very clean and very nice staff.
