“Great stay”

The folks running this Super 8 do an excellent job making sure your stay is pleasant. I would definitely stay here again next time I come through Austin. Highly recommended.

“Ironman Austin stay.”

Hotel is fairly new and in good condition. Pool maintenance was not the best. There was debris floating in both the hotel and hot tub daily. Didnt seem like it was cleaned reguarly. Jets in the hot tub didnt work either. Room was very nice and reasonably priced for what was given. Neighborhood isnt the best but thats what I gave up to be close the event I came for.

“Certainly one of the best!”

We recently spent three days here and the level of service was certainly first rate. The amount of amenities was superb. I will be sure to stay here next time in Austin. And the General Manager Victor was a very gracious host. You won't go wrong staying here.

“This is NOT the Super 8 you think it is...its great!”

Have stayed here multiple times and its a great hotel. Great beds, furnishings, breakfast with all you would need for any taste with big tv's in the breakfast room, plasma tv's in elevator, 42" in rooms. Free cake in the evening. DVD library, book library, free wifi , bathrobe. Very clean and well run newer hotel. Has pool, and great convenience store in the hotel. Pillow menu too and scales in your bathroom. Free snacks in the room for you, microwave, safe, fridge. The staff are very attentive and the manager Victor Patel is the nicest person you could meet. Would stay there again hands down. at great room prices. Only 15mins to DT Austin. Very close to lots of shopping and 1-35. This is the secret you need to know about rated No 3 on tripadvisor in Austin

“Nice hotel, but far off the beaten path!”

This was a really nice hotel with a full breakfast bar and a desert bar at night. The beds were a little stiff for my liking but they offered 5 different kinds of pillows to make up for it. The TVs are HUGE and the only downside to my room was that my toiletries were not automatically refilled. I had to ask for more. The biggest downside was that everything was at least 10-15 minutes away on a road that it under construction.

Area recommendations
Go to Wholly Cow burgers. It is located in a convince store but it is the best burger that I have ever had. We found it through Yelp.

“Extremely Pleased!”

We visit Austin every few months to visit our son so we have stayed in various hotels and bed & breakfasts. This hotel exceeded our expectations. The breakfast had variety, the coffee was excellant (Starbucks), the staff was great, and attention to detail was paid in the rooms from pillows to the complimentary bottled water and bag of chips. The location seems out of the area but were surprised how close we actually were to everything. We will surely stay there in our future visits to Austin.

“Excellent business hotel”

I have been a business traveler for many years. This Super 8 is one of the best business hotels I have ever stayed at. For one or two nights my requirements of a hotel are usually simply safe & clean. I have been looking for a hotel in Austin for many years and I have found it. This hotel is clean, well preserved, amminity laden and full of a very gracious staff. Everytime I turned around I found another something extra. The one note I would offer others is that if you are not in your own car (or rental) you may not like the site, it is a little remote. However with a car you can travel 183 for a few miles North and land in the middle of many shopping, eating and entertinment options. This is a high recommend.

“Perfect location for where my meeting was, great neighborgood and great hotel”

I was very impressed. I booked based on the reviews, but expected less. It was eveverything the previous reviews said. I couldn't be happier. The only issue was a screw up with which room I was in, but they fixed it immediately. This hotel definitely deserves it's rating. I wouldn't recommend it, however, if you don't have transportation available, as it isn't within walking distance of anything.

Area recommendations
Go see the capitol at night. It's beautiful. There are also lots of culturally interesting things in the arear around the capitol.
