“So close to Stubbs!”
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Property was clean, room was clean. Comfortable linens, pillows, and bed. Wish it had a microwave and mini-fridge, but I managed without.
“Gift Shop is Never Open.”
This is an excellent hotel. The service and the rooms are very good. The restaurant and bar are friendly, and the location is good (not excellent) The OLNY complaint I have about this great hotel has to do with the gift shop. I was theer for a weekend and it was always closed. I asked the hotel and the answer was that it was independently owned and that the owner had erratic hours. It is quite unconfortable to be in a hotel where the only shop is constantly closed and nobody knows when it will re-open. In my case it re-opened close to 10:00 PM saturday night. CVS Pharmacy is across the highway, but that is not as convenient as having the shop within the hotel.
“We were extremely satisfied with the hotel and would not hesitate to stay again. Food was delicious.”
The hotel was very clean. Certainly enjoyed our meals there and the staff was always so friendly and most helpful. The buffet breakfasts was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and always went above and beyond to satisfy. We were made to feel welcome. So a big Thank you to all the staff at the Sheraton.
“Girls' Night Out”
Some friends and I stayed here for a girls' night out, and it was perfect for us. Great location, super friendly and helpful staff, and very comfortable room. Not to mention a great deal! They also must've (somewhat) recently remodeled because it was much more modern looking than I remember from meetings and things I've been to in the past. Two thumbs up!
“Not impressed with having to pay for parking”
Parking was surprisingly $16 a night and they did not offer any other place for people to park. We did not like finding this out on our last day at the hotel.
“Great price, service, and location”
Great price, service, and location. Comfy bed. Nice new upgrades. Only thing that could use updated was carpet in room which seemed slightly stained and old. Otherwise all was superb! Would definitely return and recommend to others.
“Nice Stay”
The breakfast was awesome. The rooms were clean and staff was friendly.
“Great location”
Room was great.Plenty of room to sit and relax. Location was convenient to 6th St. activities. Buffet breakfast was not good-out of food and plenty of dirty tables.
“Great Time”
Great place to stay!
“"Signature scent"”
If you are in any way sensitive to smells, don't stay in this hotel. Upon check-in, I noticed an overpowering floral scent permeating the lobby. When I went upstairs, I could smell it throughout the hallways as well. It wasn't as noticeable in my room, but when I went back to the lobby to grab a bite to eat and do some work, I was chased back up to my room fairly quickly, and then spent the remainder of the evening in bed with a migraine. When I commented on it to the manager, he said that was "Sheraton's signature scent." I guess that means I won't stay at a Sheraton again. The scent was so strong I smelled it on my clothes as I unpacked them once I got home! Additionally, the WiFi signal was so horribly weak, I couldn't download a simple two-page Word document I needed for work. And getting food in this hotel is nearly impossible with the odd hours the restaurant/bar/gift shop are open. For the cost, I expected so much more.
