“Eh..”

I always write reviews where I stay. We were in town for a concert at American Airlines Center. This place was about 10 blocks away. When we walked in we noticed right away the lobby smelled like bad hospital food. Not good. The receptionist was very sweet and informative. She went into detail about all the amenities. When we left to the concert they called us a cab and they showed up very quickly. I felt the customer service was great. The room not so much. There was no microwave or fridge. The ice machine was not working on our floor either day we were there. Also the bathroom was extremely small and not comfortable at all. The shower curtain didn't seem long enough and there was no exhaust fan which made things awkward. I didn't sleep well. I felt the bed was hard as well as the pillows. We spent a pretty penny including extra for the parking. It was one of the cheaper places to stay which is why we booked it but downtown Dallas is not that great and I feel it has gone downhill. The walls are also paper thin and we can hear our neighbors loud conversations. Next time I would rather spend the same amount and stay in Addison which is about 10 minutes away on the tollway. We can get a much nicer place with way more space. This place does have a great rooftop pool though. Too bad it was too cold. The staff was great but there were more cons then pros.

Area recommendations

I would recommend going to Addison where you have a large variety of great dining and entertainment.

Go to Jake's Burgers for happy hour. They have an amazing happy hour and burgers. Also I recommend Mi Cocina in West Village (amazing margaritas!)

“Marathon stay”

Rooms are very small, parking is a racket in the ramp, security was a pleasant surprise. Asked for a late departure and were just given an additional hour, not enough time due to running a White Rock Marathon, very disappointing. Will drive farther next time to a hotel that accomodates such requests that are not out of the ordinary. The money this race brought in, one would think some better treatment would be standard.

“Dallas CFA”

My experience was very positive for this hotel. It was very good quality for the price. It was the one of the cheapest hotels in downtown Dallas but the staff was friendly and the room was clean. I was able to get all my questions answered and the staff was more than willing to help with any requests. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a low price hotel without sacrificing on quality.

“Decent Enough for what I wanted.”

Cheapest hotel I could find that was close enough to be able to walk to a concert at House of Blues. Service was mostly good, we locked ourselves out of our room at about 1am and the guy at the desk didn't act that nice about it, but he wasn't rude or anything either.

“Best value for money”

It is the best hotel for price. Considering all others (at least when i checked) this was lowest price for what hotel had to offer plus great location. Right in downtown. Would recommend to anyone.

“Excellent Deal for the Price”

I went to Dallas for the Texas State Fair. & stayed @ the Crowne Downtown. Front desk was welcoming and informative. Bed and furniture were comfortable. Room had great view of Downtown... 16th floor. Will definitely book this hotel again when going back to Dallas.

“Enjoyable night”

Our stay was great! The only difficulty we had was exiting the parking garage with our room key - it wouldn't work. But, they sent someone up within a couple of minutes to help us.

“Right near JFK Museum and Highways”

Great place for the location - near tons of bars/restaurants in downtown. Consider staying uptown near McKinney as well if you're looking for the younger crowd beers.

“Great hotel but so loud!”

The only reason we didn't fully enjoy this hotel ws bc it was soooo loud in the streets and it was right next to a bus stop where a lot of transients hung around.
