"Excellent location in the middle of the forest. A unique experience for nature lovers "

"The ground floor unit is beneath the main accommodation which is like a big house and so the noise upstairs can be an issue. We were lucky there were no families with children upstairs. The kitchen is well appointed and very clean. The living room space is quite adequate for 2 people. But the bedroom is a let-down - only one bed lamp on the one bedside table. "My husband and I had a fabulous time staying at Sally’s restored church. She is absolutely a gem of a host! Sally was very easy to communicate with before check in, gave us some sight seeing recommendations during our stay, and was easy to work with to coordinate check out. The church looks exactly like the photos, which is always nice. The kitchenette is perfect for coffee and breakfast at home while enjoying the morning light through the stained glass windows. "House is clean and modern with everything we need for a 6 days trip in Cairns. Plenty of space inside out for a family of 4 plus 2 adults. We didn't use the pool but enjoy the view of mountains very much. Location is great as it's quiet but close enough to attractions. Thank you for having us. We truly enjoyed our stay."

"Lovely peaceful area with very little traffic. The property is unmistakably "beach hut" from a bygone era, but brought back many childhood memories of holidaying in similar properties. The interior was clean and well-appointed - certainly not luxury but certainly adequate. Fully fenced yard for a dog or two. "The place was great - and given that Catherine had stayed there herself due to the flooding and cyclone, she had done a great job of getting it ready for us, when she could have just as easily cancelled the booking. Catherine is so accommodating and the creek was fantastic. Okay, so not the Ritz, but if that is what you want - go there. This is a adequate little shed-house in the rainforest - so you get everything that goes with that. The dogs also loved it."
