"This is the only true hotel in Villena, and as a result it has seen its better days, but still continues to fill up as Villena is a vacation location. The restaurant downstairs does not open until 9 and closes early. No smoking is not really enforced, our room smelled horribly seeing as the last patron, according to the cleaning lady was a heavy smoker. We were able to go to a large supermarket 8 min away so that we can make some lunches and dinner. We went to 3 restaurants we enjoyed very much, La Despensa, Restaurante DiTrevi, and Tita’s. "When, not if, I go back to Alicante, I will DEFINITELY stay at the Odyssey Rooms!! Loved the modern look and feel of the hotel and rooms!! Greatly appreciated the thoughtful water and fruit in the hallways! The area is super convenient to shopping, food (Mushroom Hill), and of course THE BEACH!! Best of all, the staff were all very friendly and helpful (shoutout to Marianna!). Thanks for a wonderful time and great service!! Hope to be back soon!!"
