Don't like walking May be a good idea to hire a car.
This hotel is fairly new and so the facilities were still pristine. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We had a very good sized room with a balcony overlooking the sea up on the 8th floor. Campello is a delightful town.

We stayed at this this hotel from 3rd May- 10th May we had room 103 which was overlooking the beach - the views were wonderful. The hotel staff were very helpful nothing was too much trouble. Bruno the Manager was the perfect host again nothing was too much trouble.
The bedroom was spacious as was the bathroom, the room was cleaned every day, clean towels in the bathroom everyday too.
We chose this hotel partly based on previous reviews. First impressions as you walk in are not good, and from that point it gets worse. Our room was sparsely furnished, the bedding though laundered was stained and there were grubby cushions and a blanket on the bed which we put into the wardrobe. The bed was uncomfortable and the iron frame creaked whenever either of us moved. The bin in the bathroom had not been emptied. The breakfast was awful. On the first morning the coffee urn was switched off so the coffee was cold and undrinkable. On the second and third morning the coffee was still hot in the urn but was burnt and was undrinkable. The meats and cheeses looked as though they had been left out for a long time. There was no butter, only margarine. We were not acknowledged when we left or entered the hotel as the staff seemed always to be pre-occupied with the computer. We understand the hotel had a bar, restaurant and a pool but we never saw a pool, and the bar and restairant appeared to be closed. The whole place reminded me of the worst of the 1970s! We seriously considered checking out but did not want to waste a day of our holiday trying to find an alternative.
