“Great Hotel, Very Convenient.”
Hotel is on the route of the Alicante airport bus - right opposite one of the bus stops 2.70 euros from airport. Only a few minutes walk from the sea-front. Breakfast was an excellent choice, hot and cold food, good coffee, juices, nice bread, fruit, cereal etc something for everyone. Room was spacious and modern bathroom. Lots of nice welcoming restaurants within easy reach and a nice buzz to the local area. Tram stop also nearby (stops on tram route include Benidorm). The hotel was also near some steps up to the castle should you want to get some exercise (quite a climb but worth it for the views). Free use of computer in lobby for internet, or free wireless access in room. Would definitely stay there again.
“Fricking Amazing!!!”
The hotel is smack in the middle of Alicante, with literally everything on the doorstep. The original plan was to hire a car but the location of the hotel made that redundant. Everything is a stroll away. The restaurants, bars , the local market and even the tram stop. The hotel still has that new hotel smell lol. It's a modern construction, well made and maintained. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. We arrived 6 hours before check in but were still allowed to go to our room. The room is spacious with a king size bed and room to swing 2 cats lol. The bathroom is modern and spotless. And the air condition was heaven which you will need lol. Didnt really try the onsite restaurant as there were some fantastic restaurants only a stroll away. There is even a PC with free access for the dedicated social networkers out there. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel for location, the staff and the comfort. We're definately going back lol!
“All business”
Close to the beach, right in the centre of town, loads of great restaurants and bars nearby. Room very clean and well sized, very plush looking on the whole. Can only recommend.
“Strongly Recomended”
Impressed with hotel, overall comfort and excellent location.
“Great Location”
The reception staff are very helpful, have lots of useful information to hand. Requested a twin room via e-mail and received an immediate reply to say ok. Superb location, airport bus stop directly opposite, train station very close for Benidorm and coastline etc,. in the heart of everything, traditional bars restaurants, street cafes, shops. Felt very secure in the city, Had visited Alicante years ago and has improved immensely, as good as the well known city break destinations. Lovely beach although San Juan just a train ride along the coast is beautiful. Menu Del Dia is a must for value for money, Not one bad meal in any of the pavement restaurants.
“Alicante Magic”
We stayed at the Lucentum Hotel in Alicante and could not have chosen better. The hotel was located in the centre of town and very close to all amenities. The local beach, promenade. shops and restaurants were only a few minutes walk away. It took ten minutes to walk to the excellent local beach and promenade. The staff were very accommodating and our Junior Suite for the three of us was excellent as was the standard of cleanliness and daily cleaning. Our towels and bedding were changed daily. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent and if you choose to eat out there are many bakeries around the hotel itself. The central market, bus stops and metro were all across the road from the hotel. the C6 bus to and from the Airport stops right outside and costs 2.5 euros. Although on a main road there was no noticeable noise from the outside. All in all a very enjoyable stay in a very up market hotel. We were able to store our luggage in a secure room after checkout and use the shower facilities in the gym/sauna/ jacuzzi area prior to departing for the airport. If you are looking for a relaxing break in a hotel away from the tourist drag but close enough to the main attractions then this is the hotel for you.
“Excellent All Around.”
Extremely friendly staff, more than helpful. Free wifi. For the price I did not expect such a nice hotel either. Rooms are very nice and clean. Ideal location 10 minutes from beach, 10 minutes from train station and bus stop across street to airport. I don't normally write reviews so that should tell you enough.
“Helpful staff, nice area, ten mins walk from the beach”
The hotel was easy to find as it was sign posted. The staff were helpful and resolved any issues quickly. The room was clean and provided everything needed. The beds were comfortable. And the hotel was quiet. No street noise or noisy guests. The area hosts conveniences such as shops for groceries, jewellery, clothes. Bakeries and chemists nearby. The hotel is located near the castle and ten minutes walk from the beach. There is free Internet which was useful, safe storage facility after checking out, and a bus stop opposite the hotel, where you can catch a bus c6 to/from the airport. Only downside is we thought breakfast was expensive at 10euro per person per day so we didn't try it. Plenty of delicious bakeries in local area though.
“very good location”
We Stayed for three nights in this hotel and found it very conveinient for most of Alicante's attractions. The old town is 5 min. walk the local beach 10 min. walk and there are many bars and resteraunt's all very close by.the c26 bus runs every 20 mins to and from the airport 2.65 euro's so for a short stay there is no real need to have a car. The hotel and our room was very clean and comfortable, my only moan is that there is no lounge area or bar but as there are dozens close by it was not a big problem. I would be happy to go back.
“Excellent city location”
Stayed for 3 nights May 14 - 17, booked a single occupancy room which had a king size bed on room only basis. Purchased breakfast on arrival for each day good choice and selection of food & drinks I am gluten free but still found enough to eat but take your own tea bags ! Location was better than expected, close to Renfe train station 5 min taxi ride. Room was large and comfortable with TV, safe, air con and good insulation from city noise. Didn`t test out the room service but the mini bar was fully stocked. Bathroom was a little cramped but the shower was excellent, room was serviced to a good standard each day, hotel was generally very clean and the staff were helpful & polite. The large lobby had a free internet PC for guest use. There was a cafeteria & bar in the lobby that was advertised as open 7 - 11pm but only saw it open on one occasion but that was not a problem as the hotel is surrounded with bars and restaurants and just a 10 minute walk from the old town and marina area. The castle can be reached by a lift from the sea front and can be viewed from the hotel. Overall a good choice if visiting Alicante for a short stay didn`t have any negative thoughts or complaints.

Alicante, Spain: The provincial capital, Alicante is a bustling city with an excellent beach, a new marina, buzzing nightlife, and an atmospheric old quarter. High above the port, the Castillo de Santa Barbara looks down into the Barrio Santa Cruz, a picturesque warren of whitewashed streets, its little houses with window grills and geraniums, reminiscent of Andalusia. This is the heart of the citys nightlife, full of hole-in-the-wall bars and clubs.
