"Fabulous property right by the village centre with easy access to excellent walking right from the doorstep. The barn is lovely with all mod cons and facilities. There’s ample space to sit and chill both inside and out. The pub is next door and river walks within 2 minutes. Our group of friends loved it."

"We travelled as a family with tow young children. The accommodation was excellent, very modern, clean and got everything we needed. The location is ideal if you want peace and quiet, but close enough to the small village of Embsay and a short drive to Skipton. We will be back."

"We had a very comfortable stay at this lovely property. It is absolutely immaculate and has everything you need and more. Great communication from the host Joseph who was very helpful and just a text or phone call away. The property is within close proximity to the supermarket, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops all being a 5 min walk. A great base to enjoy visiting the local area with a recommended walk up to Heptonstall. It’s quite steep in places but worth it for the great views and exploring...

"We had the best stay at this property. All three properties are very well equipped and were perfect for our large group. The location is stunning and great for doing walks in the local area. Sally was very responsive to any queries I had ahead of the trip and whilst we were there. A hot tub had just been installed a few days before we arrived and was the perfect addition to the property. I am very much looking forward to coming back in the future!"

"Artist cottage was a comfortable well furnished and clean property. It was within walking distance of Harrogate and handy for visiting surrounding area. There is a railway line to rear but it wasn't intrusive. Our only concern was the extremely steep wooden stair to bedrooms and with the bathroom being on the ground floor, this was not ideal. So, I would say not for the older guest or anyone with walking difficulties. "

"The property is almost like coming home after a heavy day of enjoying yourself. The property is very comfortable and has mostly all the facilities that you need. We felt that there needs to be more crockery, mugs etc and cutlery to make using the dishwasher sensible."

"Just returned from a 3 night stay at Hazels House and I can definitely say we will be staying here again. The house was perfect for our family and pooch. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and was just like home from home. Had everything we needed for a perfect stay from coffee and tea bags and even dog treats etc. Loved the garden area just a shame we didn't have the weather to spend a lot of time to sit out there!... Can't wait for our next visit, Thank you "

"This house was just what I needed. It was clean, location perfect for me, host very receptive and answered questions very quickly."

"Positives: The house was large with nice grounds. There was a nice walk to the local pub. The bedrooms overall were nice. Technical issues: • The hot tub kept tripping the fuseboard. So we missed out on the tub on the Friday night. • A few more dishwashing tablets would have been helpful, as would bin bags • The outside staircase up to the building had large spaces between the bars, which is dangerous for small kids. We suggest a simple wire in the middle of these to ensure kids don’t fall...

"I booked this property and paid direct to the property. I received confirmation of payment by email. I drove to the property expecting a code for the key box. I did not get one. I tried phoning the letting company, no response, email no response, what'sapp no response. I contracted Hotels.com who also pursued. no response. I have lost my money and had to find alternative accomodation at a higher cost. do NOT book to stay at this property. it is a scam "

"Great place for a short stay. Clean & good facilities bit of confusion over payment…. Thought paid up front but hotel said not… so this is main reason for 4 not 5. Also close to late night pubs/ clubs…. So if you’re wanting to go to see early… probably not the place for you as the music can be quite loud. However, not an issue for us & slept really well. Ultimately good value for money & would stay again."
